This question is probably going to sound extremely naive, but what the hell?

So I have been thinking about trying to do an adult blog to promote my bosses VOD site as well as other sites, I dont know a thing about building websites, but I was wondering if having technical skills (HTML, and all that kind of shit) was necessary in order to build a decent blog or is it the kind of stuff I could pick up by reading some tutorials online and and asking a few questions here and there

best way to learn is by doing.... and reading alot... google is your friend

you don't need to know any technical stuff really, alot of hosts have fantastico which is a one button install really, and a tiny bit of playing around

if you want to get your feet wet super easily without spending anything, you can always start out with thumblogger

just try it. if you have your blog setup and you don't want anything crazy it is possible to do it with minimal skills.

Of course, it helps if you have techniical skills but to create a basic blog, it is not really neccesary.

You can set up a basic blog with little to no knowledge of HTML or CSS, however it will look pretty shabby. There are a lot of designers here, myself included, that can set you up a professional looking WordPress theme and install all of your advertising for a reasonable rate.
