      If your bandwidth goes over 150MB/150MHZ a day you're subject to a bump up to Virtual Private Server which is an extra $15 a month to start. Then they'll keep telling you to up your CPU/memory.

      DH is good until you have traffic.

          For all predominantly static pages, you don't need that.

                  Go away from DreamHost! They switch off my site without any notice (my friend have absolutely same expirience, switching off in first problem WITHOUT any warning).

                  Normal hosting will give you one single day to move your WWW to the some other place.

                  DreamHost will rape your ass and point your biz to the shit , it cost me 10 listings in theHun and 2 months queue.

                  Dreamhost service and support is one big scam.

                                          They are among the best for shared hosting though. There are so many other hosts that ditch you faster for getting a lot of traffic. DH works with you, places like Hostgator just disable you.

                                              they dont ditch u, they pull off ur sites and/or just give errors whereby ur site would seem like its down. Especially during peak hours. furthermore, MOST OF THE BANDWIDTH AREN'T CONSUMED BY YOU. They're consumed by the other sites on the same shared host as you. They get the bandwidth, you get the flak. Happened to me before.

                                              Never touch DH with a 15 feet pole. I've done it and seriously, the problems are so many you don't even bother talking to them after awhile. Customer service? hah.

                                              Go ahead and try if you don't believe...

                                              Just an unsatisfied DH ex-customer.

                                                  it's good for static content ... mysql sucks from time to time
