Gmail without a doubt, of course having your own email at [email protected] is preffered, imo.

Gmail, because:
+ You can use your own domain for e-mail,
+ It works with IMAP (extremly useful when you download your mail to several computers),
+ Gmail webpanel is kicking ass,
+ 6GB storage and it's growing,
+ you need one anyway if you want to use Docs, AdSense, AdWords, Blogspot, Webmaster Central or other tools from Google,
+ it's all free.

yeah gmail is a good choice if you want to use any of their other services like analytics because ull end creating an account anyways.

personally i use yahoo for all my general stuff and that gets alot of spam. otherwise i use my domains for email.

Free email does the trick for most people. Everybody is different but if you ask me I'm not a huge fan of hotmail. Yahoo or Gmail would probably be the way to go.

GMAIL, they have perfect spam filter.

For example they put in SPAM that fucker [email protected] that pretend to be "buyer" of domains, pushing seller to buy appraisal at his company and then not buying domain. This way people that are unaware of this motofoko see, that something is wrong with him.
