I have just, about a week ago, started an adult website. I have documented the steps in which I did so, and decided to do this post to act as a guide for newbies in starting their own adult website.

In starting you adult website, you basically can design your own website, or alternatively purchase a script for the specific purposes of your website, e.g whether you want to run a TGP, a blog, a video hosting service, etc.

2. Blogs
If you intend starting a blog, I would suggest WordPress, which is a free script and easy to install. Some of the advantages is the facility to add videos as well as RSS feeds, which could automate your website.
3. TGP
If you would like to start your own TGP, a great script can be found at JMB Software for this purposes. Although a bit pricey, it is worth the price for the serious webmaster.
Although this is not free, you can find a free thumbs script over at Smart Scripts, which could also be useful in running this type of service.
4. Buying a Website
If you do not have the time or knowledge to install or set up scripts, you can buy adult websites and domains. There are a number of webmaster sites catering for this.

AVN Ads is another way of advertising and paying per click. I am not sure the type of traffic you can expect, but a large number of webmasters are using this service in advertising their products. This will not be a very cheap option to drive traffic to your site though.
3. Exoclick.com
Like mentioned above, another popular adult advertising service is exoclick. Although not a cheap method of driving traffic, it will surely offer you services to satisfy your needs.
4. Buying Links
I would recommend this method as it might be more cost-effective. My recommendation is to visit various webmaster websites and look for webmasters offering links for sale on their websites. Here you can buy links and drive traffic to your site by buying links at any price from $5 to $100 and more per month on any specific website.

6. Submitting Your Content to Other Sites

Youporn has a large number of visitors. Here a video can easily be viewed up to a million times. Uploading your content is free.
