Movie galleries or image galleries?
I have a question to current webmasters-
Do you get more sign ups on movie gallery pages or image gallery pages? I always debate on a set I'm using whether I should link to a image gallery or a movie gallery, but what do you have the most success with to get sign ups? I know you can use a movie+image gallery-in-one, but IMO, that's the least successful.. what do you think?

I'm more successful with video galleries. It gives the user a tease of what they could actually see with the videos (most guys beat it to videos and not just pictures).
Just my two pennies though

i think people with faster connection speeds MUCH prefer movies than photos now

Yah as more people get faster connections, movies are the way to go.

I agree movies are the way to go. Just give them a tease though, not too short not to long. If you can splice several quick clips together, like say two seconds each, those seem to work for me. Here's one people like:
