Google & Seo Questioins

Hi guys,

I was wondering how often google checks out your site ? I started mine like 2 weeks ago, and it got indexed at google.com. Now when I do a search on my site name, it will show up, only with the old header / site description info.

This is what my robots.txt looks like

How long does it take untill you can expect a reasonable amount of SEO traffic?

You may never get any traffic from Google. It all depends on how well optimized your pages are. Realistically, it can take up to six months for a brand new site with no inbound links from other sites you own -- that have already been indexed -- to be indexed and make it out of the sandbox. While you're in the sandbox, you should work hard at getting as many other sites to link to yours as possible so when it does climb out of the sandbox it will start with at least a PR2. Of course, you probably also have a ton of research to do on SEO, because it sounds like you think everyone with a website gets traffic from Google.

After taking a quick look at your blog I can tell you that you're SEO needs a lot of work. You don't need a category for every model you add and you should check into a SE friendly heading plugin. You should also give the posts descriptive titles, not just the mode's first name.

The way your blog is right now, there's very little for the SEs to chew on.

Since it's a 'teen' blog a teen category would be unnecessary. I would suggest categories like hardcore, solo girls, etc. The categories are good for your surfers that like something in particular but they also help with SEO since you're getting a good keyword into the url.

Put this above your first html tag. That you can see when your crawl starts to pick up. Remove it when it does b/c you'll have a mailbox full of notifications.

Build your backlinks... Google focus on quality links you have.. Exchange links with other sites (hard link), link dump submissions, forum postings, directory submissions.. etc...
