hello. scope us out! i need to know what site youre looking to promote. we can send you traffic as much as you want.

i recommend you to start buying standard type of placements like banner ads and text ads. take a look at http://www.cjtraffic.com/pricing.php. we're selling ad clicks for $.05 per click but average buy per click is now at $.09.

shoot me an email or send me a message over icq for more info!

Scotch, what you need to do is the following:
1. Create galleries to submit to TGP sites. You will save yourself alot to time if you use a submission program to submit the galleries to dozens of TGP sites quickly. You can look at gallerysubmitter.com or chameleon submitter. There are plenty of others.
2. Search for other sites like yours and contact the webmaster for link/banner exchanges.
3. Buy traffic....maybe! I would actually try numbers 1 & 2 first. You can place ads with Yahoo or Google. They are more expensive than other means of bought traffic, but at least you write your own ad, set your own budget and target your own campaign. You can buy traffic from "companies" that claim to have adult traffic. Be cautious! Usually this will give you alot of hits to your site with no or very little productivity. I've been buying traffic from trafficholder.com for about a month and so far I have no complaints. Their traffic has been as productive as Google, but for a fraction of the cost.
4. Join as many webmaster boards as you can to see what other people are doing.

It requires much more than that.

Marketing of pay site is generally a very complex task, there are many factors that take place at one time influencing sale of memberships together

There are many porn sites out there and also a lot of traffic. The key is good marketing and know how.

Actually, you should only start doing this once you have enough experience and exactly know what to do or you have shit load of money so you can pay people to do it for you.

As tomwil said above, there are many possiblities to build/get traffic and drive it to your site.

traffic trade's and hardlink trade's are great to start getting traffic flowing. You can automatcally exchange a front page hardlink with my site located in my sig, that may bring in some hits

What kind of site do you have running? It depends and there are a lot of creative ways to have a steady flow of traffic over time.
- SEO
- Link exchanges
- Submissions to TGP/MGPS and directories
I would focus on the above to create a steady source of traffic. To get started you can purchase traffic. We cut prices on some niches, but they'll be up again soon. Try us out. I can get you started on some free traffic. Add me to icq and we'll talk
