What is so hard to understand - Models.
Yo, gat a question. I'm sure some of you guys may have ran into this problem. How do you handle it. I always get models that I work with to sign contracts and what not. And I did one or two solo girl sites and its like the minute these chicks leave they want to have all their content, and their name, and want the site down and shit. They want to leave and take all their shit. But in the contract I make sure to put in that all rights and contents become my full possession should they leave or I decide to end our agreement. It just pisses me off that the first shit out their mouths is "legal action" and "lawsuit".
What would you guys do, I don't want to be an asshole, and its not like keeping the sites up without future updates is going to be beneficial to me, but it just annoys me that these chicks open their mouths to say these stuff. How do you respond to them, ignore them or be an asshole.

i'd straight up tell them to find a large foreign object and stuff it up their fucking ass. explain to them that it is no longer their property, they chose to SELL their own image for resale, and that property is no longer legally in their control. Give them the option to buy it out if they'd like, don't undercut yourself either. Sell it to them as exclusive. Explain to them politely (or not so politely, it doesn't really matter) that you have all the legal binding authority over said content, and send them on their way...
Take all the old content, and put it together into one site so you can recycle it further, or sell it off as semi exclusive to other webmasters to use in the same way... |
