Hey guys,
Noobie here and just started my own tgp. So far my site is just URL links and hope soon to put up thumbnails, and was wondering if I do put up thumbnails would I need to 2257 it? If so, how do I got about documenting it? |

Bump for you. I also have a question regarding blogs. If I'm running a blog with links to affiliates and the occasional gallery, would I need a disclaimer for 2257?

hey thecougarlist, I asked a similar question a while ago about watermarking thumbnails.
I think the best thing to do is ask the sponsors first for permission and make sure in your email you refer to them having the correct 2257 documents. e.g Dear X, Have you got 2257 docs for all your models, can I put up a disclaimer saying you have the documents, can I make thumbnails of them and display them on X. Save the email and I think you will at least have a first line of defence - but to be honest there is not much point investing a lot of time on the issue. |

I generally got the idea that if you kept the thumbnails to skinemax or below (i.e. as explicit as you'd find on late night pay cable) you would be ok.
But I am a great big noob myself so what do I know? |

If the thumbnails are explicit (hardcore) you need to comply with 2257. However, very few sponsors will provide you with the necessary documentation. The solution is to use softcore thumbnails only. Either that or keep a bag packed and make sure your passport is current.

Not much point in investing a lot of time on the issue? Yeah, there's some solidly ridiculous advice.
