Getting your site indexed by search engine

I don't mean having high rank. Just indexed. How to get hundreds of thousands of pages indexed by search engine?

Anyone knows?

You could always use a tool like Google Sitemaps - it'll basically spider its way through your sites' content and add each page for inclusion in the SE as it goes.

Failing that, just use mass-submit sites, such as AddMe and ineedhits.

how unique are the pages? if the engines think the pages are the same or close enough to being the same they may be skipped. keep in mind that one of the goals of SE's is to provided the most unique relevant results.

with that being said...

sitemaps, proper linking structure, rss feeds, optimized .htaccess file, robots.txt, the list goes on...

Get a strong inbound link and make sure the page URL's are SEO friendly, piece of cake.

Use Google sitemaps, and put a link to your page on another indexed url, the spider will do the rest, if you can't add your page, just add it to Google yourself, although it's preferable to have it added a new link found ...

You create a website that let's say has 17 pages in it. Your main menu is index.html (just for example purposes here) and all 16 of theo ther pages of your site should link back to index.html but most importantly, index.html should provide a text link to all of the other 16 pages in your site.

When you have done this go submit your site to google. It will do an initial sweep of your site to verify the validity of your links and see how much content it has to chew on.

The google bot will then tell the deep crawler that your site is ready for a deep index. The deep crawl will happen when it has time. This could be anywhere from 6 days to 6 months! The initial sweeper (the first guy that came to see you) will revisit your site about twice a month to see if you have made any changes to your site. If you have made any significant changes then it will reschedule the deep crawler to visit your site again.

In the mean time, (while you wait for google bot to get around to you), go start trading hard links with other like minded sites and get your link popularity up.
