This is how to get started as a webmaster in the adult industry

Many people want to get involved in the adult side of webmastering, and don't really know how to. Lots of people can be successful as a webmaster in mainstream, but can't translate it bring them success in adult. Or some people simply don't know how to be a webmaster. Well, hopefully this post will be able to give you some clues as to how to get started.

The easiest method by far is to start by picking a hot sponsor. You'll know who's hot by reading these forums. Pick a single girl site for starters. If you don't know who is good right now, look for pics and links on here and pick the girl you would most like to 'spend time with' - as generally it's going to be a girl which others find attractive too. Sign up with their webmaster program and start downloading some of the sample content. Have a good look at it. Start thinking of ways you'd describe it.

Once you have a good bank of material for your new site, find somewhere to get a free blog. Of course I recommend http://pimpis.com/ , as you can contact me and I'll help you with it or you can tell me what to fix or how to improve it and I will.

So, you sign up and get your blog. Well done. What to do next?

Start watermarking your new blog's URL onto the sponsor's photos which you've downloaded from their webmaster area. Do not crop or remove their watermark, nor go over the top of it. That's very important. It's their content, not yours. Don't pretend it's yours. A line such as 'seen on..' before your url would be good too. Do this in photoshop. Set up an automated task and it takes no time at all. Just a bit of text, and put a stroke on the outside of the text so it won't be obscured if the photo color matches the text color. Just a small tip.

Now you have a blog, you have content. What do you do? You start blogging! Make a new post for each photo, and on pimpis.com you can upload the pic straight into the post, it will thumbnail automatically if you wish. No buggering around. Write some good descriptive text. Write what you like about the pics, about the girl. Write what you'd do with her if you had a chance. Use keywords. Put links in the text to the sponsor where the photo came from. Link the photo to the sponsor. Tell people there's lots more if they sign up at the sponsor's site. Be creative, and make each post sound different. Use different keywords.

Important note! Use the 'edit timestamp' feature when writing your blog entries. What is it? If for example you write an entry, and edit the timestamp on it so its in the future, then that entry will only show up after that point in time. So you can write a couple of months worth of blog entries in one day, and you won't have to update the blog because it will update itself.

Now your blog is ready to update and you've filled it up with content, you can concentrate on getting some links. Make a note on GFY that you want to trade links. Tell people it's a new blog. There's hundreds of people with new blogs willing to trade with you. Link link link.. spend time getting lots of links.

You won't make money instantly, and don't expect to. but you could spend a week working on it for two hours per day (after work if you have a 9 to 5) and set yourself up with a solid blog. It's a start. Repeat the process as much as you like, the more the merrier. It's a simple way to start earning a little bit of cash in adult. It's easy, and it doesn't take much time. And, it doesn't cost you a cent. Not even for a domain name. Nothing. A totally free way to get your foot in the door of adult webmastering.

I forgot to mention that on pimpis.com you can plug your affiliate ID into the template itself, so the banners at the top of the page are earning you money too. It's all explained on the site.

Is there any chance you will be installing a SEO plugin anytime in the future?

Something as simple as being able to edit some "permanent" meta keywords & description for the entire blog... or preferrably being able to add custom keywords\description for each post.

There are a bunch of such Wordpress plugins floating around the net. I think thats one of the real benefits you have by using Wordpress as your blogging solution

Oh and #2, any chance of one of those Del.icio.us \ Reditt type plugins as well?

I am guessing this is still quite a new service so maybe these things will come in time... the custom meta keyword\desc for each post would definitely help squeeze that extra bit of juice out of blog posts\pages for SEO :P

You can plug RSS into your blog with the feedwordpress plugin, and every blog generates an RSS feed. Let me know what you want.

IF you don't obscure their own watermark, and are using those images to promote their site, then yep, most sponsors will not mind at all. In the end it helps them get potential new customers, just as it helps you get potential new referrals.

a.) HTML
b.) CSS
c.) PHP
d.) Java Script
e.) MySQL

f.) how-to get indexed by the different search engines
g.) how-to buy adult traffic and where ...

h.) Pointed them to GFY
