If you don't plan on taking submissions, I would recommend JMB's TGP Rotator.
For trade scripts, either Sloth Trader or Arrow Trader Light 3

Then yes, go with Auto Gallery SQL. It would take a little work and familiarity with the template options, but you could setup your main page to be essentially a niched hall of fame section.
