i did a small page in 1280 x 1024 and would like to put something in the code to auto re-size to like 800x 600 can it be done or am I chasing dreams?

Your site is very, well, colorful. At any rate, you can use j a v a s c r i p t to resize the window. Google it for a ton of resources.

If you mean what i think you might ... doing that will piss off a lot of your visitors though. I hate it when screen sizes resize.

But, yeah, that's a bad practice. Some modern browsers (like Firefox) even have options to turn that off. One would think that enough people have been pissed off by such a technique, hence the browser option.
