newbie and totally lost :(
Hello All
Ok have been reading posts and have realised I am totally lost and new to this adult webmaster world. I have signed up for a few sponsors (a couple of dvd store sites and also fetishhits and also adult bouncer) The problem mainly lies in what to do with the promo stuff they give, e.g on fetishhits they give you links to FHG's, do I submit these links to link trade sites or do I just put links on my website? Also my html skill is not that great and would like to create some thumbnail gallerys but do not know where to start. sorry for rambling, ok need some advice : the niche is lesbian or anything lesbian related I live in the uk can anyone recommend a decent adult hosting package any decent cheapish adult webpage templates any easy to use thumbnail creating scripts that are free or quite cheap any starting advice as well please I look forward to your replys |

alright i dont normally do this but for some reason im feeling a bit generous so i will help you out. first you will want to contact mike over at webair for your hosting. i dont work for webair and im not a webair affiliate so you dont have to mention my name or use some refcode or some shit, just get in touch with mike and he will hook you up with a bad ass deal. since you are also looking for a good website design, theres a few different designers that i would recommend but it depends on exactly what type of design youre looking for (tgp/mgp, gallery, actual members site, etc). for creating thumbnails if you dont have something like photoshop that can do batch creations, i would recommend the free version of comusthumbs but you being new to all of this comus will probably just confuse you beyond all belief. now regarding what to do with the FHGs, do whatever you want with them. submit the links, put the links on your site, buy traffic for them, whatever you want as long as surfers click them. they are just additional selling tools and you dont want to rely on them solely to do the selling for you.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants think about that |

Dude, you could start right now with a free host. By next month you could have yourself a little blog or freesites or whatever to pump some traffic to your main site.
You're gonna need traffic. Start early and stay late. building sites, putting up content. 20 minutes a day and you could have a 150 word keyword rich post up on a yourname.blogspot.com blog. and another ten minutes to build a solidlink list of other smallish blogs and soon you will have some trades. The sooner you start the sooner search engines will find you. Just my opinion. |

I would always tell people to test the water(s) first before jumping in !!! Unless you know what your doing... your going to loose a lot of time and money !!! This is what I suggest... 1.) spend $5 to $10 on a domain name... A .COM ( don't transfer it !... Just change the DNS info when needed... such will be provided to you by your web host... 2.) Use a free adult host like www.pornwebring.net... Just until you get the feel for things... They will give you your DNS info as to be included into your domain name account... ask admin for technical stuff... really simple... dns1.yourserver.com and dns2.yourserver.com into your domain name account... 3.) If you do not know how to program in html, php or java I would suggest using www.Blogger.com... as they will give you templates to work from... Blogs are the way to go ... 4.) Read manuals on html, xml, php and java. 5.) Offer something valluable to your guests at your website... 6.) Learn How to Search Engine Optimize your website... Do a search on SEO... It will help you get listed high in the search engines.. The search engines drive 89% of all web traffic... actual stats ! 7.) Submit your website(s) to the search engines, but make sure to have your META Tags done first... 8.) Use link dumps as to get some traffic going... also use banner exchanges. You can also include your website(s) in adult autosurf programs, but watch out some are scams !!! 9.) Don't get worked up about Page Rank, PR, however network through this service with the other Pros... 10.) If anyone here at GFY claims anything... have them prove it !!!... have them show you how to... the pros can !!! and the noobs acting like pros can't !!! 11.) Get yourself a Stat counter as to keep track of who is comes to your website. This will help you pick out the scams... Use www.statcounter.com as they allow for adult content and have a nice setup ! 12.) Read !
