Moving from blogspot to my own server step by step

Hi all;

I was wondering if anyone could help me???

See I've got my own site but a while ago, I decided
to setup a blog...

I figured that since I had a lot of work @ the time it
would have been easier to set 1 up on blogger & just
link to it from my site!...

Now, I'd like to host it on my own server, but instructions
on blogger R veig and don't provide much on how to,...

( other than FTP which I already know how to do... )

Can anyone tell me how to setup / prepare my server???
i.e. db, folders needed, page preparation, etc...

If anyone can provide step by step instruction on how
to do this, Your help will be greatly appreciated!!!

thx...

There's no direct way to import your blogspot blog into wordpress, assuming you're using wordpress.

You would need to install wordpress, install the plugin RSS2Blog, then at blogspot, turn on syndication and republish. Now, plug your blogspot RSS feed into RSS2Blog, and let it grab all your posts.
