TGP Trades Being Fed...Next Step?

Well, I've been feeding my trades traffic for a few weeks now, and things seem to be going decently. Added & deleted a couple, etc.

Now I'm at the point to where, despite having read tons of tutorials on running a TGP, I'm lost on what the next step is. Do I just keep feeding trades forever & that's it?

I guess I'm aiming for developing a good amount of bookmarkers, but surely there's something more, right? Or no?

Can someone help me out, because I feel like I'm really not working hard enough & all I'm doing is sitting here checking my traffic stats every day.

Thanks in advance,
c-lo

Welcome to my world - only without the ability to buy the traffic in the first place. I'm just waiting for Google to list me now so that i can see what happens - but even though i've submmitted my site through Sitemaps, they still haven't listed me.

If you've really run out of things to do...

Start another TGP in another niche, or look into blogs or SEO, or think about making your own galleries to submit to generate traffic.

And if none of that interests you, Go watch TV.

I've been there. Just out of boredom & wanting to do more I've created several TGPs. But I want to focus making one a success before I create tons of them. Creating a blog will lead down the same road...I'll set up trades, get em balanced, and then what?

I already know my SEO pretty well. I guess I could start buying content and making galleries, though I hate to get sidetracked from my main project, my TGP. Though I do see how it would tie in, if I slap my own recip on em.

Soooo...nobody knows what to do from here TGP-wise? I've been at this point for a while now & all I'm doing is keeping my trades steady & I'm not really seeing any real growth.

And I'm actually losing money, and am desperately seeking answers to lead me to where I'm at least breaking even.

Someone please give me some direction!

Thanks for trying to help, fellas...really appreciate it!

Thanks,
c-lo

What do you want to create from this buiseness?
Do you want to make money or do you want to brand one TGP?

See previous posts if the answer is make money.

You need to build another. When I first got started, I had a few. After awhile, I merged them into one. Also consider starting a picture rating site, those generate a tons of returns and bookmarkers.

Hmm well thanks for the advice, picXX & Joe. Maybe its just that I don't see the point in working on another one when the first one isnt very successful.

If I have 1 TGP that barely makes me any money, and then make another...I'd just be out even more money to buy traffic to feed its' trades, right?

There must be something I'm not understanding here.

My plan was to get my TGP fairly large and then link it to the smaller ones to distribute the traffic across a network of sites that belong to me. But I guess I should start doing so now?

Please elaborate on why this is a good idea, if you will.

Thanks for everything thus far,
c-lo

Wouldn't it be easier to do it the other way round? Like making lots of small TGPs to feed traffic to your best one? Also, your next aim with the current TGP should be to stop feeding it with traffic.

I guess that would work, too. It may even be easier like you said...I know it's gonna take a couple months still for Google and Yahoo to pick up the smaller TGPs. I guess I could start working on those sites, though.

Thanks for the advice. And yes, I would be thrilled to just get to the point where I'm not spending my money on shitty purchased traffic.

Thanks for the advice. Anyone else got any advice on what I should do to grow my TGP? I've got the money, I just don't know where to advertise & how to increase my surfer productivity.

Thanks again,
c-lo

if you are buying traffic, here is what i suggest.

only feed traffic into one site (not the one you are feeding now)
set the skim kinda high, you just want to use this site as a filter.
setup some trades for this site.

force as much clicked traffic as you can into your other site.
dont send any traffic back to your feeder site.
give it all to your trades.

this should help productivity a little.

what niche traffic are you buying?

would still love to chat with you on icq :314157890

-John
