Icon Next to Url in Browser

How do you add that little icon next to the url in the browser. I've been seeing it alot and thing that's slick. I would like to do that too.

Depending on your apache server setup, you may notice error files in your logs if your site is missing a favicon.ico file too. It certainly isn't anything to worry about if you don't have one, but they do make a nice extra touch.

Favicons only work in IE if the site you're visiting has already been added to your favorites. Firefox just always looks for favicon, if its there it will display it.
