Netnanny/cyberpatrol/cybersitter
I saw most major sites say this
"DOMAIN.COM BLOCKS MINORS for more information please visit these sites: netnanny.com | cyberpatrol.com | cybersitter.com " How do they block them? I have checked the sites for info but I am not sure... Thanks for the help. |

most adult sites add the html meta tag for mature content. i think that's how most of them detect it.

i also think when search engines spider your pages it will pick up adult content (if any) and add it to their mature content list.

Also the programs filter out bad words in the URL, they have "blacklists" that are updated dynamically when you are online, all thanx to Mr. Gates who gave us the BHO-objects in IE.
