    whats better tgp or mpg

    i decided to branch out and get into tgp's or mpg's...
    what do u guys think is better tgp's or mpg's

    also is there a significant advantage of having thumbs instead of descriptions as links to galleries?

      oh ya.. i have used ttt and cjoverkill in the past for trading traffic.. thing is i have never been totally happy with it..
      are hte paid ones worth the extra money?

                  I think with broadband getting more common and bandwidth getting cheaper pic-only tgps are going to fade away...

                              You can make good money off both.

                              Choose which one you are more interested in building and maintaining. Then keep it fresh with good content and make it very user friendly. Don't give away the farm with the galleries and make sure the design of the site makes surfers put their eyes on your advertisements/sponsor links.

                              Tweak, tweak and tweak.

                                  i am kinda leaning towards mgps cause personally i cant be bothered clicking on pics any more.. videos are a lot better and easier...

                                  lot of sponsors claim that mgps convert twice as good as tgps.. is there any truth to this??

                                          gee...I guess you run a pic-only tgp? sorry to bum you out bub, but your time has passed

                                          seriously, I don't see how the growth of broadband could not create greater demand for video content --if you really want pics, it's more practical to go buy a copy of juggs...you can read it on the toilet and you don't have to scroll for the bush

                                          as for link lists --I don't see why bb would eliminate the demand for those??

                                          text tgps will stick around too -I didn't say thumbs were the way to go, just movies --- text can pull better than thumbs if done well...plays on the surfers expectations better I guess

                                          all that said broadband has a LONG way to go --vast majority out there still slogging along at 56k

                                                      Hey if you have the content & can manage it then go with the mpg. Otherwise tgps still work for some, but you'll be missing a chunck of customers.
