Noobie intro..looking for host

hello! I've been reading GFY for a bit, never been able to post because of a forum error, but now it's fixed.

I've just finished mt first free site, going to be buying my domain name today....now all i need is a cheap host to start with

so as for reliablitly and a good starting host, can someone give me a good recommendation?

maybe one that I can host multiple domain names with?

i guess I'm looking for a max of $12/month, hopefully with cheap nor 0 setup fees.

also with room to upgrade if my business ever expands (which I hope will)

I hope I can learn plenty from you webmaster vets, and hopefully one day I'll be helping noobs like you guys are

Hey pood,

I've heard some good things about www.cho opa.com and we host with a host that colocates with them (because we found them first) and never have had any issues. Good luck finding a host! Good ones are hard to find sometimes. :-)

Ciao,

JM

Powerstorm Internet Services bas reasonable pricing (Starting at 9.95 for 512 MB Storage and 25 GB in data transfer) and has a very helpful support team.

Ok honest question here, what do you intend to do with $12/mo worth of bandwidth and hosting?

go with a company with real history..u will pay a bit more but there is a reason. WHen you start out you work EXTRA hard to get where the veterans can go easy. You dont want to lose your traffic.
