    Starting a tube site

    So, I'd like to start new tube site, not some embed tube as I did so far. Hosted content seems to rank much better.

    Do you have some hints?

    1) Mechbunny tube script + template?
    2) Where to get videos? Sponsored content, bought content?

    All hints will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

      I think you are at the right path, Mechbunny is great choice. I guess sponsored content is fine, just don't host short videos.

      So, you think tube sites with hosted material rank better?

          You can build your tube site with KVS script. It is pretty beast, it is worth every single penny. Plus, you can buy some content (if you have proper budget) from here.

                  Yes. Instead of just linking the content from somewhere you host it and others link it from you. Pre-load ads are awesome and you can have your own embeds so others send you more traffic.

                  I am aware of that script. I checked their player and my browser froze. It'd be good if someone uses both scripts to compare. Anyway thanks for tip.

                      If you have decent hosting with enough BW and space, it's always better to host the videos, not mainly for SEO purposes but because if you use hosted videos from various sponsors you will have a lot of broken videos over time.

                          I used both, Mechbunny and KVS. Even with new Mechbunny update, I think KVS is above and has great features. A minus for Mechbunny is the special server configuration that makes other websites I had not to work.

                                              yes, but I think only 5% of the videos on the site has a description that's not much.
                                              Make sure that you have a unique title than its gone to be oke
