I have a solid web team prepared to start making sites for a few clients and had to thiught to expand into a few well known pornstars as I noticed they didnt have official websites, however Im unsure if theyre in need of one as there are sites like Twitter and Tumblr that are easily updated. The main sell of an official site is that its a paysite which will generate a solid amount of revenue for exclusive content. Im really confused why one wouldnt have one, especially when you have a massive fanbase. Can someone shed some light on this?

They don't have official websites because most of these girls aren't businesswomen, they are "actresses". They just take their $500/$1000 per scene and GTFO. They don't care nor have any clue about the business/marketing side of the whole thing (apart from maybe doing a tweet or two here and there). -
