Business Subscription form on adult blogs?

Wondering if it's good or bad to have an opt-in subscription form on one of my adult blogs.

    Some positive points:
    - loyal following
    - possible more money
    - creating a user base.

    Negative points:
    - most people don't like to opt-in (but this is just my personal opinion).

What do you guys think of this?

I never had much luck with subscription on my adult sites in contrary to mainstream ones.

You know, I have two blogs. I have an option for people to get automatic updates etc. Often times, I see that people simply don't want to do that, however, most of my traffic is return trafffic

So, what does that tell you? People are FINE with visiting your blog(s) but don't expect it to work the same way a mainstream blog would be, it's adult. It's taboo.

I would say if you can find a free plugin or work with mailchimp (for free) why not? I wouldn't put much on it. Just focus on constant and frequent posting. I promise you'll see increases in traffic.

Oh yeah, no problem and good luck to you!

Also, if you ever wanna do a link exchange, I can help with that. On my directory, ePorn List | Quality adult TGP porn directory links and more, I have a category for adult blogs.

And on my actual blog, ePornBlog - Home, I'm looking for links to put on my "friends" section. If you're interested.

Well I am using mailchimp for mainstream sites, but the problem is that they do not allow adult sites.
