KVS vs Mechbunny vs Wordpress vs ?

Today I'm going to be spending some time deciding on what technology platform to base my tube network on. From the research i've done, it seems like the industry has three darlings that I need to choose between.

My Requirements

1. Can build a network of sites using the same database
2. Supports multi-language site & content
3. Ecosystem of theme developers, extensions etc
4. Best in class

Just a few random thought about each

KVS
- Seems to have the some solid testimonials and used on big sites
- Satellite license costs $269, so each additional tube costs $$
- Satellite sites can run off the same database
- Default theme is quite plain, wasn't able to find any template's for sale to get me started
- Have seen posts on gfy offering to buy only KVS sites, so perhaps there is a preference?

Mechbunny
- Unlimited domain usage license, so software costs are reduced if I grow
- Satellite sites rely on their own database, embeding from the parent. Not ideal
- Management active on GFY, responsive at the weekend to a question I had
- Plenty of themes available, default one is very usable

Wordpress
- Simple to deploy as multisite etc and have multiple satellite sites
- Lacks video conversion, auto thumbnails etc
- Would have to reply on (perhaps unreliable) plugins to import from sponsor sites etc
- Plenty of nice themes like adult-wordpress-theme.com (already have a copy)
- I'm very familiar with wordpress development
- Doesnt seem like best practice to deploy wordpress for a tube

What are you thoughts guys? At the moment I'm leaning to KVS as it appears to be the "Gold Standard", but perhaps it's just the flashy website

2. Generous transfer allowance (10 TB+) or uncapped line
3. SSD Drive & 1TB+ SAS 15K
4. 8 GB Ram
5. Anti-DDoS protection
6. Very adult friendly, experience with scripts etc
7. Ideally non US incorporated, with offshore options available

I went through the forum looking for suggestions and have narrowed it down to the following providers. Do any of you guys have experience with them, or can offer any other suggestions on providers or my requirements?

Thanks for all the feedback so far guys, its much appreciated! Bit of a slow week as I took some time off and went down to the islands in Thailand for some sun and scuba diving

In the end I decided to go with...

M3Hosting
- VPS MechBunny v150 (2gb Ram, 300gb HD) for $50/m
- I liked that it was fully managed
- They do all the initial server config, hands off for me
- Strong ties with the mechbunny guys
- Not a whole lot of storage space, but I can upgrade down the line

Mechbunny
- Plenty of people offering templates and custom designs
- Had suggestions in this thread
- Default design is usable from the start, looks great
- Pretty sure I can hack the translation feature into a multisite network instead of using the API

I some time casually researching the industry and came across the "Porn and Coffee" podcast, was pretty interesting

I'm also using M3 (great guys who know their stuff and are very helpful) and mechbunny, though my tubes are not my top priority. I'll be following your adventure as I am excited to see where you go with this.

I now need to decide what route to go down in terms of content and niche

General Tube vs Niched Down
1 Big Site vs 100's of Satellite Sites
Low CPM & High Volume vs High CPM and Low Volume
Pro vs Amateur Content

But thinking that perhaps for the first site I should just throw something up to get used to the software config ;)

I suggest go for a tube in YOUR favorite niche, its a good way to start with kind of porn that you more relate to ;)

Can you share some of your sites?

Yikes, its been a while! Apologies for the updates, my main business got crazy busy and spare time went into travel

I've spun everything back up last week and have made a start on progress

Hosting
* Memory was maxing out on the VPS, so upgraded to the 8GB M3 Server smart plan
* Configured daily backups for database and content
* CDN for content and static HTML to reduce the load from google crawl

Content
* Import feeds (thanks Mech!) developed for HubTraffic and Tube Corporate, around 20 sites in total and god knows how many millions of videos using embed codes

Tracking
* Added sites to google analytics
* Added sites to google webmaster tools

Monetisation
* Installed and setup revive ad-server

Design
* Ordered logo's for two of the sites

To-Do For This Week

* Configure google analytics, add goals
* Development spec for google translation API to get content translated
* Development spec for text spinning tool to make content unique(ish)
* Find a suitable affiliate program (dating?) I can promote to fill banner spots for now

Questions

* Can I expect google to index my initial content? Must be 100's of sites with the same titles
* Are there any better ways to make content title unique, other that using a spinner?
* Should I add text descriptions to categories?

I got my first two logo's back, pretty happy with how they turned out. Now to intergrate them into the sites
