Well to be fair their new VPS/cloud plans are nice - I spun one up and the performance was VERY good and the Ashburn, VA location had a great network.

Yes, as long as it's not illegal obviously. I've had sales and support guys laugh when they heard some of my domains. They had no issue. You couldn't pay me enough to use their hosting though. They do super shady stuff to lock you in, the support is horrible, and what you get product-wise is sub par. I've had freelance clients who have had sites with work they wanted done that are on GoDaddy and I've politely told them there's no fucking way I'm dealing with GD, go find someone else.

OVH is great if you know your way around a server. Their prices are really good and their servers and extremely performance. Their support is non-existent though, they generally will only deal with hardware issues. If they can ping the machine, their job is done and it's all on you if something doesn't work. I would only recommend OVH for someone with Linux admin experience or very experienced programmers. If you already have a programmer and they can deal with it, that works too.
