    Why isn't female circumcision promoted alongside male circumcision?

    Female circumcision has been grouped in with the most aggressive form of female genital mutilation, but the two are actually not the same. Female circumcision removes "excess skin" just like male circumcision.

    Mothers who get their boys done do it largely for cosmetic reasons. So why not use the same motive to have baby girls done? If foreskins look gross, then don't roast beef lips look gross also?

      FGM involves lopping off the clitoris

          I'm not talking about FGM as it is commonly defined. There are multiple degrees of FGM. The least intrusive of them all, female circumcision, has been grouped in with FGM as mothers wouldn't dare cut their baby girls but they will cut their baby boys.

              Here are two points of reference on the subject. It appears as though female circumcision does go by the name clitoral hood reduction and is somewhat in practice. But certainly nothing done to baby girls the way it is very commonly done to baby boys in the US and Canada.

                              Frankly I never heard of "roast beef lips" until I read this thread. Just the same I like big lips just as much as little ones and I also prefer my women with a big natural full bush. - So "roast beef" with with pubic hair that's never been cut since birth and I'm a very happy man.

                                      Men who's culture is into circumcision only expects to feel pain once on their lives.

                                              So yeah, if you have that Germans are not being circumcised and Jews are being circumcised, surely you can use that to distinguish who is a likely Jew and who is likely not.

                                                                              My point was that Hitler banned all Jewish doctors from practice in Germany in 1935, then by 1939 he started killing them all over the Europe. So by 1945 there were very few ( to none) practicing Jewish doctors in the Continental Europe, whilst in USA there was (and is) a large proprtion of Jewish doctors, so the cirumscission was promoted by them. I am NOT commenting if cirumscission is good or not, nor discussing any propaganda, just statistics.

                                                                                          All I need to do if I am determining if someone had critical thinking skills is to ask them about their view on male circumcision.

                                                                                          Is female genital mutilation worse? Yes of course it is worse but using that as the argument of why male genital mutilation is acceptable is like saying shooting someone in the leg is bad but shooting them in toe is perfectly fine.
