why do 'mall' shooters kill

I think we need to begin to accept the fact that we have a huge mental health problem on our hands. We have people that live on the edge of society that we accept as being adults, but are really mentally retarded.

A perfect example of this is one of my friends; In fact, he was best man at my wedding. I've mentioned him often here on GFY when have debates about firearms. When we were thirty we just thought he was a little bit "immature". He's had a lot of health problems, multiple brain surgeries, and now operates as a 16 or 18 year old. He is medically retired from both the US Army and the US Post Office, and combined with disability he does pretty well - He owns a house, a nice truck, etc. On the surface he looks perfectly normal - Until you have a ten minute discussion with him. He can only talk about three or four subjects from when he was healthy - his wife, his kids, the army, or working in the Post Office. If you ask him who the past President was he'll have no idea.

He shouldn't be allowed to drive, and has had five or six accidents in the past three or four years.

I think there are a lot of people who are like this, maybe 5% of society, and we've completely ignored them. In the case of my friend John we all want the best for him and we pray he can continue to live on his own.

We had an incident here locally where this guy's girlfriend was cheating on him, so he set the Gameshop store in the local mall on on fire causing a lot of damage. This shit happens more often than we think, sometimes with guns, sometimes with burning shit down, sometimes with cars. We just choose to ignore it and pretend nothing is wrong.

When rats are forced to live in unnaturally overpopulated conditions they go crazy from the stress the situation causes them and fight more often and in general become more aggressive.

Much like rats, certain people are triggered by these primitive survival instincts and their actions sometimes manifest themselves in these types of behaviors.

OR it could be that they are simply assholes.

shopping centers are causing people to snap

poor selection, high prices and rude staff.
