Before YouTube yanked my channel, I was up to 13,000 subscribers and, I think, 10 million views. I was at 92% male, 8% female, as far as user stats.

YouTube strictly prohibits porn, and if you do ANYthing that's slightly porno related, they make their argument support their TOS, which is essentially anti-porn. Even down to a watermark. You can have a fully-clothed Riley Reid talking about growing up in Florida, but if they deem that it promotes adult websites, you're cooked. Any and all arguments that I attempted were futile. And I'm 100% positive that the people who alerted the YT police were competitors...not random YT users who may have been offended by the content.

And the money I made from my YT channel wasn't very significant at all, even though my demographics were. Which was always frustrating. If I've got millions of viewers that are 92% male between 18 and 35, then why are they flashing ads for, say, middle-aged women? That drove me nuts...

Normally ads reflect what google *knows* about a surfer, so if you are seeing ads directed at middle-aged women, what the hell are you looking at online?

edit - I take that back about the competitors. There are some people that get real pissed when they see something sexy and it is promoting a website. I'm not sure why this is. I think they want the girl to be sexy with no desire to be compensated. Those guys may report videos.
