I made my first AVS site and am a bit confused how the things work. I have obviously made several mistakes and some things are just unclear to me.

Are there anybody of the AVS professionals willing to help me a bit and to explain some things?

I have several questions. If sb. is ready to help I will post them here or via ICQ.

OK, here it goes...

1) I made my first AVS site:

I registered with these AVS-s:

FreeNetPass
ProAdult
CyberSexNetwork
SexKey
CyberSexNetwork (did not get confirmation e-mail, maybe I wasn't registered or sth went wrong)
RealFreeAVS

I read several articles and topics from different forums. I understood that I cannot rely on AVS internal traffic only but I should expect to get some traffic. I got total 2 clicks on banners. Is it normal and all that I should expect?

I have sponsor URL on main page. I know that it is a mistake but I don't think that it stole all the other traffic that I expected(If there is more traffic to expect). The host seems to be pretty fast for me but sb said that it is slow. Don't know maybe that's the problem...

2) Is there any meaning to use avs free content? Aren't people already used this content for so many times already that AVS don't want to approve another site with the same content again?
And link lists have seen it probably many times and don't accept it.

3) I scanned some forums and made list of AVS linklists that were said to be good. I had to left out those which do not accept free hosts/sponsor content.
So I plan to submit to the following linklists:

4)Is it possible to form partnerships in AVS? I link to sb and he links to me? AVS sites usually allow only 1-2 banners per page and if I add some links I will have no place for banners. Are there any other methods of co-operation and getting traffic via partners?

5) How well do PPC-s work when I advertise AVS sites? Should a site like I have (with better content and a tour probably) will rather bring me some money in or lose it?

6) What are some other methods of advertising worth considering (beside SE)?

Ok, let me divide my suggestions into 2 parts ; traffic and design...
* For traffic part,
Free hosts are the way all of us start in our newbie days but you should change to paid hosting as fast as you can. There are many reasons and maybe some people would oppose on them, but thats what i think.
If you are using a freehost you are killing all your chances to get indexed in google and many other search engines, they just dont care about them. And you will never know what the free hosting company will do next day, maybe they will turn your page into banner farm with all their banners or redirect your traffic all. My suggestion is to get a domain name first and if you dont have enough money yet ( there are lots of cheap plans on paid hosting) or you just dont want to invest some money on hosting until you see money rolling, redirect it to a free hosting. You dont have to worry if they go bankrupted and close all their servers, you have the domain name and point it to anywhere else.
Also many of the avs systems offer free and bannerles hosting for your domain if you use them.
Although i am not a search engine expert there are some basic rules to get decent traffic from google and others. First use texts on your page, your site is now a blank page with one picture for google. Write what this hot babe does ? "she fucks like a blabla, her tight pussy... she is a real pornstar with huge boobs" At least put a paragraph of text to your site and make it sensible, dont just put keywords, thats keyword spamming. Now yoru chances on google are much higher, you have lots of keywords on your page.
* For design part,
Your site is terminology a"basic" or "feeder" avs site. Many people prefer making tons of sites like the way you did.

This is a dirty business plan and i dont suggest this too much. People usually make 1000's of this kinda sites in a week and thats why you are getting very low inside traffic in avs system.
Try making more graphically rich sites, use more but small images to give surfer a general view of whats inside and make them horny. Make at least 1 or 2 tour pages. Dont just say them where is a photo, pay me money i will show you more. They will just tell you fuck off ! If you did everytihng right they will be begging to give their credit cards at the end of the tour, believe me

I avoid using one color backgrounds in my designs, and white really makes the site look empty, you can use gradient backgrounds...

Himm, now let me turn back to your questions...
1) Avs internal traffic used to be good in the past and many webmaster make living solely depending on that. But nowadays its really hard to make a few bucks. There are so many webmasters adding tens of sites daily. maybe you should use some really creative title and descriptions for the site to get the avs surfers attention..
2) Sponsor url on images is not a traffic leackage but also a disadvantage to get approved by avs programs. Some avs companies dont apply/list your site if photos have urls on them. If you cant afford to buy content, there are lots of sponsor giving free content that doesnt have urls. Also some avs systems offer free content.
3) Submitting to avs linklists is a must. The traffic is decent but the real benefit is; you can get some linkpopulairty (for google pagerank) from them if they list your site. All you list are good link lists and will list your sites with no problem. They are really nice guys.
Also dont forget the people surfing on avs link lists already have avs passwords, dont except something great if you dont have a premium site or a new avs which they dont have a password.
4) If you understand it right you are talking about link exchanges for pagerank and traffic. Some avs's have nasty rules permitting the webmaster to use only 1-2 sponsor/outside inks on tour pages. Just create and submit them a clean copy of your page without any links, like yourdomain/cybersexnetwork.htm
5) I dont really tested the PPC's but it will not work if you dont have an extreme deep niche avs site.
6) Traffic is the king,use any possbile method you found, toplists, banner exchanges, link lists... just avoid spamming

And for your members area
Think like its a tgp gallery , dont give the surfer all the hardcore stuff and let him jerk. Make him horny and show him the way to get some more hardcore porn. Right now , you are using the same banner on all your galleries, Sort them a bit, use more effective and eye catching banners. The one you are using now looks like a logo of the site. Also teaser text links over and below the banner will create miracles...just my

This should work with non-linklist traffic, right? People who come from linklists have their passes already and don't care about the tour? So better design is needed for SE, toplist and Banner Exchange traffic?
However, I wonder won't making several simple sites be more useful than one quality one?

Is it OK if I left out signing up to multiple AVS systems completely and use only one? They don't seem to bring me traffic anyway.
I need free AVS host and only FNP seems to provide me this (I can't use some AVS systems becaus my country - Estonia - isn't accepteb by them). But FNP freehosting requires that I use them exclusively.
