Borderline adult site, make it mainstream or adult?

I have a site that is borderline adult, ie no porn but a few hot ladies around and lots of adult text. It could go either way. If I enforce strict rules on the images, I could make it mainstream at least what most would be ok with, or I could allow wider variety of images but then be stuck as an adult site.

Any suggestions?

What iknow Mainstream is easyer and can give good income, but then the adult business is the biggest I am myself thinking about adult or mainstream.
If you think mainstream do you compare to ex: tagged,hi5,myspace and this type or?
