Tube Websites + Content Locker = Success?

Just something that I thought of the other day. Why do none of the tube websites use content lockers with some PPS/sign-up offers to maximize their revenue and squeeze everything out of their traffic?

Has anyone here actually tried using a content locker on a tube site, if so, can you explain how the experience was for you and the users on your website?

I think content lockers are annoying, maybe the reason the big tube sites don't use them. You could lose traffic to your competition. Never like them as a surfer so I don't use 'em as a webmaster. My 2 cents.

It depends if you enable it globally or partially on your website. I was thinking to try and use content lockers only in full screen mode for the video. It requires a bit of coding but may be effective if attempted since you could hook it to a PPL/CPA offer easily.
