    Redirecting few domains to main site

    Hi there,

    I have question about offpage seo. We redirecting some domains to mainpage with content. We have few domains which are undeveloped (we don`t have a content at the moment) so we are redirecting (301) them to the main page.

    It`s like this:

    example1.com/* --(301)--> mainpage.com/
    example2.com/* --(301)--> mainpage.com/
    example3.com/* --(301)--> mainpage.com/
    ...

    My questions: What is impact of this situation on google? Is it ok, google doesn`t care at all or we can get penalized?

    Thx for info and opinions about the topic guys. And fuck you if you overtake my thread with shitloads of your homosexual reflinks again :o)

      It will not significantly hurt or help your search engine results, as long as you use a 301 like you said rather than a 302.

      Sometimes it can be very beneficial to use redirects to funnel traffic to your main site, especially if you have some decent domains that might get some type-in traffic.
