    Tube site - embed or host the videos?

    In terms of SE, host all the videos on and burn your bandwidth or embed them?

    Does it make any difference in view of SE? Thank you.

      I don't see any reason to host the vids yourself, especially if you are an affiliate. I embed vids so they don't eat my *unlimited* bandwidth.

      I also change the titles, or create new titles in blog posts. Google see's these first and ranks because of that. The title of the video, especially if embeded, doesn't mean shit at that point.

          good info, have myself started to think in that terms, my bandwith is burned longtime ago and thinking of selling all my teen videos and just embed.....

              I embed videos as well because of bandwidth, my site is pretty new so I don't know what happens in SE. I'm happy as long I don't receive a google penalty, but I only embed about 4 videos per day so the site grows naturally.

                  When you use embed videos you use flash player of your video "sponsor". They can add popunder or in-ads into it and earn money from your views. Most of them are also "click active" = when someone click on the player screen to stop the video, it opens new window with "sponsor" site. All in all hosting videos has some pros and cons.

                      It doesn't matter in SEO view. If you use video embeds you will probably have a lot of broken videos over time so it's always better to host them if BW isn't an issue.
