    Looking for SEO Person

    Hi there,

    I've been looking for an SEO person with a background in adult sites -- I run a sex toy site at BatteryBliss.com.

    There are lots of people out there who claim to be able to do it, but I am looking for recommendations from other webmasters. Have you dealt with someone who got you good results? If so, who was it?

    Would be VERY grateful for any leads people could give me.

      Hi John,
      Seo - in my experience - revolves around two things:
      1) get the site set up correctly (in the eyes of the search engines)
      2) Build incoming links using your keywords as anchor text.

      ...... repeat ad nauseam

      You can save $ by doing a LOT of this yourself to be honest - you'll need to check out the popularity of the keywords you want first.. then get creative.

      We do, as you might expect , do some seo - but this is what i always what I tell folk

      Beware of ludicrous claims......

              I feel like I'm halfway there, I need somebody who understands this stuff to get me the rest of the way there though. I hired somebody awhile back but he vanished partway into the project. (Possibly unable to deliver on what he'd said he could do, brain tumor, abducted by aliens, I have no idea.)

                  After being fucked many times by supposed SEO experts over the years I ended up learning the bulk of on site stuff myself, even though I wouldn't call myself an expert, and leaving the backlinks to a guy on this forum named Ray. He has been really good about his links. They are actually there! OMG! He will never dog ya and sends out reports proving that on a regular basis. Good dude. Try it you'll like it.

                          Don't pay for SEO services, do it yourself for free with Market Samurai. The free training videos are worth watching even if you don't use the software.

                                      I already sent you $300 (on April 9th), then we swapped many emails in which you gave me excuses on why my link report hadn't come. And you don't even remember the name of my website. I find that very interesting.

                                          Thanks to everyone who has provided info -- it sounds like I will be just buying backlinks and seeing how that goes. I'll track "Ray" down, that's exactly the sort of recommendation I was looking for.
