    What would you do with $50k to spend in adult?

    So ive been out of Adult for a while. I used to run a big site but got out of the industry a few years back.

    After that I played poker for a good few years and made some money doing that. If you have been following whats happened with poker (Site getting shut down by US gov).. it looks like thats no longer an option.

    Anyway, i have more than $50k but if you had $50k and had to start an adult business again, How would you spend that money? I could spend that and a lot more but i want to get started for as cheap as possible and reinvest my profits straight back into the business.

    Ideally i want something that will scale, IE once i make money, i can throw more money at it to make more. Either by outsourcing labour or buying traffic/links.

    So, what would you do with $50k? I dont want to start a paysite, i have affiliate and SEO skills.

      Well if i had that money, i buy a stable business/little aff program that can bring regulary at least 1k monthly and i keep working on it to increase the sales

              I wouldn't spend $50k on anything at this time. Like Mamaliga said, buy some small program for $10k and work your ass off to make a regular income from it and use that to buy other stuff and grow your investment.

                  I've never considered buying a program before. Interesting.

                  I guess its doable but i dont want to go into anything like shooting content. I would have to purchase a program with content and if i wanted to expand purchase more new content.

                  Ive always done the affiliate model, but i have the skills to make a program work. Something to think about i guess.

                      Well there are content providers out there that give you access to their entire network of content for a price per member or GB download amount. Something to consider.

                          ya paysites or cams are still the way to go to make money in porn. there just isn't much else to this business.

                          i develop, maintain and sell PornCMS (www.porncms.com) and i've had hundreds of sites on the system in the last 4 years. there are only 2 paysite niches making any money right now: solo and gay (and especially gay solo). the web got social and personal. you have to build personalized intimate websites.

                          my suggestion - spend 20% to build a solo model paysite, plug in a cam white label, and spend the rest on marketing. once it is profitable, add more solo sites.

                                      I would diversify and buy some established sites with a prove track record. I don't mean paysites rather affiliate sites like blog network or tube network. The more niche diversified the network the better.

                                      I would also concentrate in on areas that are not piratable like cams and dating and build up niche networks in these areas.

                                      Then I would spend x ammount per month on buying contextual links for my bought and newly built networks to rank them to get the seo gold traffic.

                                      I'd never buy traffic and I would outsource it to a company like mine to manage it so I can concentrate on the big picture and not the grunt work.
