Hidden link placement (catch hitbot) = Google penalty?

Hi guys, as we know from the history of google penalties.. a lot of them were done for websites which used tricks like hidden link placement, 1 pix link, link out of the page, text link colored same as background & such a boolshit..

As fact all of these tricks, or at least some of them, are used now for catching hitbots.

So finaly i'm wondering if there is any case to put some "hitbot testers" on my pages & be sure of not getting penalized by google or not?
