Please tell me what is wrong here

    Hi there -

I'm working on 2 hours of sleep here, but I can't seem to see why I'm getting declined with this gallery ?? I've got like 10 tgp's telling me too many links Can some of you take a look at it, and tell me if I've got too many links on it?? And suggest what would be a fair amount of links to have, if I do have too many. Thanks.

No shit! Let's get the word out that most people are still at 800x600.

Hell the only thing I saw was there wasn't a period after this sentence
        "Try these links out then"

But I think that is way too anal for most tgps.

***8*** text links or banners?? 8:12 ratio. Hmmm.

/me smacks Tim upside de ear. I don't build our gals but I read the rules to him as he does them. Ummm 2-3 are normal allowable links. (We cheat with two banners and text links to the same under them and they go through) But the text is the same as the banner on the link. But thats not really cheating to our thinking since it only describes the banners. Never had one rejected for that, knock on wood.

            Hey Tim, how goes it?

Well, since you asked, here goes...

You need to make your table widths
into a % of the page rather than a fixed width. This will make your page "collapse" and look perfect on smaller browsers.

You need to resize those images down to 600 x 400, or at least 640 x 480.

Say the word and I'll design you a working template based on your design

Other than that, the gallery looks fine, I'm not sure why it's getting declined. I'd list it, even as is.

Noooooooooooooo, don't be screwing with the monitor res!! I have posted it before, its easier to get a third party prog and use IT to view in other resolutions. We have like 300+ icons on 22" monitors, throw one in 800x600 and it takes forever to get the icons back to where you can see them!!

                          ------------------------
Graphics ppl do it with more icons on screen!

hardcorehosting you don't need to change the resolution of your monitor, many webdesign tools like dreamweaver have an option to set the working area of your page. So,personally I set 800x600 and I work the page there, almost in extremely special cases the page is not visible correct in this resolution.

Why does size-testing your pages have to be so difficult? Try doing what I do.... I click on the "restore" button (upper right corner of your browser, between the _ and the X buttons), and I then click-and-grab the corner of my browser window and size it down to what I think the smallest monitor screen size would be. If my webpage looks all boned up, I make adjustments to make it look right. If it looks fine, then it's fine.

See? Checking the size compatability of your pages doesn't have to be complicated. This works for me, I'm sure it will work for you too.
