    wheres the money???

Hello everyone, can someone tell me what type of sites are making the bux? Im very green in this whole adult world, but i see so many types of sites.

I have opened my dvd site selling dvd's, but aparently that was just a waste, lol .. My next thought is to open a pic/movie site and offer like $2.00 for 2 day trials or something, $19.99 thereafter. However seeing how much i wasted on my dvd site, i cant afford to make too many more "ideas" come to reality, so i figured id ask your advice.

My first thought of my pic/movie site is that it would be awsome to charge people just to look at my pics, and not have to actually manage merchandise, then i think a bit deeper and realize id have bandwidth charges, content charges, merchant acct charges, traffic charges, advertising/marketting charges. If im missing any please feel free to post. But with all these misc charges/fee's is it still possible to make a hefty profit? I understand you cant just launch the site and expect a killing, but given time, whats the best route to go?

Ive seen many posts with questions similar to this and never get answered, if you have ANY info/advice, please share, i would greatly apreciate it.

I believe if you have the financial resources, and half way savy.... a person could buy their way towards the top of the porn food chain.

wishful thinking have a team of kick ass designers roll out a dozen premium sites. start your own webmaster affil program...

I really don't know where the money is.

Couple of yours ago CLICKCASH aka IfriendCLICK CASH aka IFriends was a hot item in town. They bought me a new house.

They are the only company that week after week paid off for me. most of the sponsor programs are crap, however we all play the game.

I would suggest becoming the next big TGP, however there are so many now days.

I wish you much luck. the ice in my gin and tonic is starting to melt

Richie, i read in your other thread that you have 34K visitors a month - you should be doing great with your DVD site. one problem - you barely have anything to sell them!!! 40 adult DVDs isn't crap! You don't even offer any Jenna Jameson movies - come on that's like Amazon not selling Spiderman The Movie!

It sounds like you paid someone to design that site. Unfortunately, I'd scrap the whole thing and put up a site run by one of the DVD affiliate programs. I can refer you a couple if you want. If your 1,000 visitors a day are SE traffic or targeted via some other manner, you should convert 1 in 100. That's 10 sales a day. My average sale is like $50. So you should be selling $500 a day of DVDs. At the affiliate programs, you'll get 25% -35% of that or $112.50 to $162.50 per day - that's a couple of thousand $$$ per month! I myself are diversifying into other revenue streams, but the DVD sales are pretty low maintance (much lower than TGP) and can still make you a nice monthly check!

cool1g, Awsome idea .. dropping my design and promoting an affiliate site would be worth my while, although im not making 100% of the money, im also dropping responsibility of shipping/stock/merchant issues/legal issues and more im sure.

I also agree i dont have too much to offer, this is because i didnt have the capital to invest in 1000's of titles to start off, and im damn glad i didnt, lol

Thanks so much for the awsome info guys, Cool1g you mentioned you knew a few dvd affiliate programs? Can you email me at:
[email protected] with details, id apreciate it.

          Thanks guys.

I would suggest adding some 4free type sponsors to your sites so that if someone visits but doesn't want to purchase anything, you still stand a chance of making a buck or two off of them. Especially on a DVD site where purchasers will be few and far between unless you are getting targeted traffic.

I added Wegcash remote sign up boxes to my sites and they've ended up being my best sponsor. Usually earning over 15 cents a click, 1 in 6 ratio.

Here's two reliable ones if you aren't using any yet:

            Wegcash

            FEB

Like I said, Wegcash works best for me because of the remote sign up boxes. Last time I checked FEB didn't have those yet.

There isn't much to it mate, go the the sponsor of your choice, sign up and promote them.

You can use thier content (If they have free content), build gallery's, free sites ect ect....

That is pretty much it, if you need any help with it just reply.
