Ho dough stats looking funny for anyone???

Greetings friends just wondering if anyone else is noticing an extreme deficit in sales since Ho Dough has changed their affiliate platform. I can only speak for myself and I have not gotten one sale since the migration to the new platform. I have even sent more traffic than before, double checked link codes, and still nothing.

I saw another thread where people were complaining about the new system. I have been with them almost two years and never gone this long without a sale from them. With all of the new sites, and fresh content it is mind boggling that no sales are coming in. Would love to hear some thoughts.

This was not intended to badmouth them or their program just wanted to get some other perspectives on a program that has ususally been solid and reliable for converting interracial traffic.

regards,
Swirlsgirl

What's fucking pissing me off is that hodough.com redirects to hushmoney.com & my hodough.com login don't work at hushmoney.com

WTF!

At this point, I don't know that all the old link codes track correct or not & if I have to spend several days going through 68 MySql databases & 107 pages to remove links, I will be fucking ripshit & never promote a single one of their products ever again

well after reading this thread i went ahead and went back to look up some gallery links i had in blog posts and it seems that they dont load when i click them. all of the links seem to just time out. so i guess all my existing seo work and blog posts arent generating any traffic for a month now. and my old direct links using nats still work but the aff code shows up as aff=hushinc_0 instead of mine.

Fucking bullshit..

I checked some FHG I have linked all over the place & they load fucked up with broken images, 404, & the damn join links, etc are fucked up

This is what it has for a link
http://join.hushpass.com/track/<?=($_GET['nats']?$_GET['nats']:'MDowOjc')?>/

here's the FHG link
http://www.boughtteens.com/11-18hush...M6Nw,0,0,0,287

looks like the direct to tour link I checked works fine

Heh, nice trick.

The same one a few others sponsors tried using. 'Our php install was broken'.
Except the server reveals the lie.

Server: Apache/1.3.37 (Unix) PHP/5.2.1

;)

Oh well, guess they won't compensate. One more sponsor to delete.

Hey Everyone,
I wasn't near my computer yesterday so I didn't see this thread until now.

If anyone is continuing to have ratio concerns please hit up D or Paul on Monday after 9am PST. They will get right on finding a way to bring them into line.

http://www.hushmoney.com/hushmoney/contact.jsp

Now that we went back to the old style of tours our overall conversions have come way down and on most sites, completely back to what some of you would consider normal. If you are having FHG issues, please do the same as it took us months to migrate them over from our old servers and to straighten out the complete mess that was on the old servers left by my previous web department. If we missed something, we'll do our best to find it. As far as link codes go, we couldn't have tested that issue more, however if you are seeing something that is amiss, please let us know right away. We will resolve it asap.

We cannot tell who most of you are by your GFY nick, so if you don't go to Hushmoney and put in a ticket, we can't help you.

This has not been the easiest of migrations, but we are continuing to work our asses off to solve any issues that come up.

We actually got our sales tracked when the old web department ran things.

Something to look into:
1: Your links to the sites from all old FHGs don't include nats refferer code basically not crediting affiliates for sales.
2: Your new FHG list generator generates FHG urls which lead to blank pages.

Don't know who you are, nor what you are talking about, but you sound like an idiot with that insinuation. We don't lie and we always take care of our affiliates and compensate when it is the right thing to do.

I have to head out right now, however, if anyone has any issues they need addressed, you can email them to me at andrew (at) hushinc dot com. and I will look into them as soon as possible. Or login to hushmoney.com and fill out a quick ticket and someone will be on it first thing tomorrow (Monday) morning.

Thanks

The old links are working fine, bro. No need to go back and change them. They'll work fine indefinitely.

You should also be able to log into the new system with your old information - if you can't, this is the first case of someone who hasn't been able to (unless they were using the wrong password, or such) since the switch-over.

Hit me up on Monday, and we'll get things sorted for you.

Our system is set up with week-long cookies, so if end-users have his up our site in the last 7 days via affiliate "a," then decides to come back on his own accord later on by directly typing in our site, or what-have-you, then affiliate "a" is still going to get credit for the sale..

This could be part of the reason that you're experiencing the problem you're experiencing, but I'd have to take a closer look at what you're talking about to see what's what...

Hit me up on Monday, and we'll get it figured out.

I sincerely hope you'd give us a shot at handling whatever concern you might have before picking up and heading out. If you have complaints, and you've never done us the courtesy of bringing them to our doorstep, we can't rightly know you have them, eh?

Hit me up on Monday, and we'll be sure to take a look at what you got.

As with most companies, we've had our slow evolution of personnel, but I, myself, have been with the company over a year and a half now. The old web department is the same web department that's been. Just because the sites have changed doesn't mean your support staff has.

If you're having problems such as you describe, be sure to hit me up on Monday, ready to let me know items such as your affiliate ID, and such, and we'll get things sorted out.

Hey D, this is not the first thread about this issue. I saw a thread a few weeks ago about identical concerns...lack of sales, funny displaying stats, etc just figured was bumps in the road during the new migration, so I waited then logged into my stats panel grabbed fresh link codes, and sent the same traffic, miraculously other sites(ccbill affiliates) that I send interracial traffic to did conversions during the same time period this week, and last week, where there were no sales at all for ho dough.

I am sending traffic to everyone of your interracial sites, and with all the fresh new content and new designs I could not understand why there were no sales, and lo and behold I post a thread and find out that many others with identical concerns.

THEN I SEE ANOTHER THREAD ABOUT JOIN PAGES BEING HIJACKED FROM romainian hackers who corrupt spyware that steals joins and traffic, and that really makes one nervous about whats really going on in this business.

I called ccbill and asked if someone could explain in laymans terms how join pages were actually hijacked and I was told that the weekend guys were aware of that problem but could not elaborate on it.

They suggested I call back on monday and speak to someone in the management department. So I will continue my quest to find out if there is a relationship between the hijacking of join pages and lack of sales when promoting other programs. and update you guys with what is relayed to me.

regards,
Swirlsgirl

That's great... on the spyware tip, please do. I knew it was out there, but I didn't realize it was as prevalent as affecting 5% of the typical affiliate's sales until reading it the other day myself... it was one of those things that I hoped to get into and dissect with the new week. I'm curious to learn anything you might find on the subject, myself.

As far as our own program goes, it's no secret that we've had a rough patch here, but so far, it's only a handful of affiliates that have come to me expressing any issue. Of everyone complaining in this thread, the only person that I know to have spoken to on the matter away from these boards (and thus, actually able to now track, etc) is Oracle Porn.

If you're just looking to get validation or post or whatever, then maybe coming here is the right path.... but if you're actually looking to fix the problem, you have to remember that GFY is not our support forum... hit me up direct, and we'll begin to get things figured out for you.

Throughout the last week we've given the site new tours, more in line with our old ones, to hopefully remedy the thing... but if that, for some reason, doesn't work, we'll keep at it until we figure out what the problem may be. We have some very smart straight-shooters that work for us, and I don't think anyone that's taken the time to communicate to us would say anything different.

So if you're set on moving your traffic elsewhere, that's your call, certainly, but for one, I have great faith in the content producted by the company I work for... content that can still convert and rebill like no other... I know it's just a matter of getting the rough edges filed down now.

So hit me up, and let's get the problem figured out.

Thanks for the heads up, we are already aware of the issue and it is a Godaddy.com tech problem all across the board apparently. They are working to resolve it right now.

Funny, 2 threads where many, many people complain of no more or hardly any sales since they moved to nats and they just say everything is fine here. If you have a problem please mail us. Then you will get the usual reply like "have you tried switching ads etc".

Wake up...i dont know what but its CLEAR you guys have a HUGE problem going on. Something is majorly wrong on YOUR end and NOT the on the affiliates end.

How hard is it to come to that conclusion?

Wake up...i dont know what but its CLEAR you guys have a HUGE problem going on. Something is majorly wrong on YOUR end and NOT the on the affiliates end.

How hard is it to come to that conclusion?
We never said everything was fine. We take every problem any affiliate of ours has seriously.

We never have said, "have you tried switched ads etc"

And it's not "many many people," it's generally the same people that seem to, for whatever reason, not want to file a ticket or send us an email.

Any affiliate that actually contacts us, we address the situation. We never assume the problem is on their end or our end or anyone else's end... we approach each problem with the intent of finding the problem, and solving for it. We still have a few ongoing issues that we're working on (Oracle's conversion issue being one of them), but we've fixed 90% of the problems that have been brought to us.... whether the problem was on our end or theirs.

To my knowledge, you're not an affiliate of ours. If I'm mistaken, please let me know... otherwise, thanks for your input, but let's leave it at that.

This could be part of the reason that you're experiencing the problem you're experiencing, but I'd have to take a closer look at what you're talking about to see what's what...

Hit me up on Monday, and we'll get it figured out.
Im not sure I see how that relates to what I said, but who knows. I hadn't contacted you about anything because I never checked any of it until last night. Some of us dont spend every moment of our lives here on GFY and Im sure you can relate to that.

What I do know is that when I decided to randomly check about 10 FHG's that I had been using the most, about 7 of them didnt load at all and the others loaded with the hushinc code. With my direct to tour link codes it was about 50/50 for the same type of thing.

This may be true, but you also have to realize that for the most part humans don't actively complain, they move on. Have you ever heard the saying "for every one person that complains, there are ten others that are pissed off"? Its usually true. I've talked to a few of my friends over the past couple weeks about stats and none have reported positive, and I know for a fact that they haven't complained to you nor will they, they'll simply move on to something that they know DOES work.

I've considered hitting one of you guys up again about the lack of sales but have always decided not to because my numbers with you overall have been pretty small. I send you guys just 4-5 joins a month, steady, its been that way for probably 6 months or so. Again, not much, but steady. Since your migration I've had 2 sales, within 2-4 days of your switch, and then nothing. Not one. It also seems like my rebills have disappeared but its hard to tell since the Ho Dough stats seemed to stop working about half-way through February, but I do know that Hush Money hasn't picked up on any of them.

Again, the small numbers are why I haven't been overly concerned, but it is very odd.

Hey Sly, Thanks for your thoughts. I'm sure you're right about some of those that don't contact us. We just can't do much for them in that instance. We can, however help those of you that do let us know. Please send me an email ( andrew [at] hushinc dot com) with your hushmoney username, and I will personally look into it first thing tomorrow. Doesn't matter if it's 1 rebill or 100, that's yours and if there's a problem, we'll get down to it and resolve it correctly.

Goliat, I apologize if someone in my employ dropped the ball on getting back to you. Please do the same as Sly and email me your hushmoney username to (andrew [at] hushmoney dot com). Again, if you are feeling something is amiss with your conversions or rebills, I will personally handle it and resolve it to your satisfaction if at all humanly possible.

Just noticed this thread and I will chime in with my own experience.

In 2006 I was 1:469 and now I am 1:3,351 and all of my traffic is from SEO.

I have top or high SE listings on many of their websites. So this traffic has NOT changed. If anything, it only grew. I am NOT having this problem with any other sponsor. In fact, since the growth, I am making a lot more with every other sponsor. Not less.

I decided that maybe something is fucked up in the link switch from NATS to what they use now. I looked into it. Read the cookies, etc, and the ID is being passed. So that is not the problem. And I could not be getting that ratio if they didn't work. I would simply be getting 0 for 0 since no traffic would be getting recorded on my account.

This is troubling. I sent an Email and they will get back to me tomorrow.

I really hope to get to the bottom of this.

I only push a few sites because I focus on my own, however, I've got your link up. I can't even login into my account, it's saying...

I'm another one whose conversions went to shit after HushMoney moved away from NATS. Last year, I was 1:842 and this year, I'm 1:6259. And of course, no rebills.

I didn't have a ton of sales with them, but it was consistent. Now, the same traffic that performed last year isn't doing anything now.

It's been on my "To Do" list to take their links down and the only reason they're still up is that I've been busy and just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I haven't taken the time to email about the issue (its easier to just replace with another program), but I keep seeing these same threads with other webmasters complaining about their numbers and it's obvious that there's something wrong on the Hush Money side.

I guess we all just get to talk about it more this coming week since it wont be solved on a sunday night by gfy. I just checked my stats too and I know Im a small fish as well. I've been getting consistent sales since back in early 06 myself and they've dropped off, and I checked and I haven't gotten a rebill from old sales since the new system went up either. Just one rebill from a sale made since the change.

This month i've got 2 sales at 1:4651 ratio... Haven't sent a whole lot of traffic lately so it could just be coincidence, but it seems they used to convert a lot better. I'm sure everything will be back to normal soon enough.

I hear ya, Sly... and I totally realize that there are several people out there that don't contact me with the same situations of those that do contact me... I could be quoted as saying the same many times myself... my point is that if someone's going to bother voicing concerns in the first place, it seems more productive, to me, to do it in a method that may result in a greater chance of the situation being rectified. If you do it here - without leaving me the ability to connect you to your affiliate account or stats, it's typically not nearly as effective as sending me an icq or email.

If you chose to move on, that's your call to make - of course. If you chose to help us get down to the bottom of what might be causing the problem for you and others, that's why my icq number and email are at the bottom of every post I make on GFY, and on every support page my company hosts.

Use them at your discretion.

I'm sorry if I failed to get back to you after saying I would. My days are usuually a balancing act of communication, and if you got lost in the shuffle, I apologize. I'll be sure to check our ICQ history from the office tomorrow morning and see where we left off... it's also possible a message of mine might not have gone through on ICQ for whatever reason... but whatever the reason, I'll reexamine where we were, and will initiate us picking back up.

As my posting habits this weekend shows I sure can relate to not spending every moment on GFY. :-) I usually check the board a couple of times a day - sometimes more often when there's a particular item of interest, but today was too beautiful a SoCal day to spend all of it inside, checking emails and such, and I appreciate that everyone involved is cool with letting us pick up things tomorrow.

Which we will, if you get in touch with me, I assure you. We're all about fixing what's broken, getting back to where we were, and beyond. Of course, If you've worked with in that way us before, you probably know that already

For everyone having problems... let me say that, aside from a couple of "extended lunches" during the week in which I'm taking a couple classes, I'm typically in the office from 9 - 5 PM PST Monday through Friday - guaranteed... and usually during some extended hours, and never too busy to speak with an affiliate.

Please hit me up.

I'm not sure who you've been sending icq's and emails to if you've sent multiple instances without a reply. Everyone in our office is pretty communication-centric.

Regardless, hit me up, and you'll have both answers to your icq's/emails, and will know why you haven't been able to log on.

And the conversion thing will be front-and-center until it's resolved.
