...had its first encounter. He/we bumped into a mama and her two cubs. The dog went berserk causing the mother to send the cubs up a tree and it was clear to me that she intended to fight...but the dog was so quick and aggressive that she too went up a tree. We left the scene and went to a place where I could observe with binoculars. The mother stayed in the tree almost forty minutes before she went down and then called her cubs down. They scrambled to get out of the area. The dogs action was just amazing.

I added about 150 pages to my journals.
