At first I thought Walt had really gone over the edge, when he was on the phone with the cops listening...but it took me a couple of minutes to realize he was trying to absolve Skylar of participation in his crimes.

Yea, I didn't realize that until you said it.

Cause he pointed out Pinkman to the Nazis to get killed and let him be tortured. I thought he was totally gone.

I have mixed feelings on the Pinkman thing. At first I thought it was really fucked up, but I could see where Walt was in his head... if Jesse wouldn't have cooperated with Hank none of that would have happened.

Jesse was acting like a loose cannon. I do think it was extremely fucked up how Walt told him that he watched Jane die and didn't try to save her. I guess that was his payback for Hank ending up dead.

We know that Walt comes back in the future. I'm now wondering if it is for Jesse.

As the episode ended with Jesse appearing to be cooking for the Nazis that is what I was thinking. Obviously Hank is coming back with some serious firepower. At this point the only enemies he has is law enforcement and the Nazis. I don't see him going after the police with his M60 so I think he is going to use it to take out the Nazis and liberate his money and possibly Jesse.

A wild twist would be if Walt kills all the Nazis and tells Jesse to take a bunch of the money and disappear then Jesse, in a fit of rage kills Walk and disappears with all the cash.

I never saw Lost, but had some friends that loved it. My friends all seem to be of two mindsets. They either loved it from start to end, or they loved the first few seasons then it got too crazy and convoluted and they bailed on it.

What might be a fun twist for breaking bad is that Walt comes back and all hell breaks loose. Marie and Skylar are both killed, Hank kills the Nazis, Jesse either lives and disappears or dies then Hank dies from cancer and Walk Jr. is left with his little sister and 80 million in cash.

now that wa some crazy ass tele! hahahahahah dang.

                            1. give that baby an emmy right now.

                            2. thank you vince gilligan for the epic walt/skyler phone call. holy moly. that was like a 1-2-3 punch, ww absolves skyler, calls her a stupid bitch- like all her haterZ wanted, and displays in full effect his insane ego as heisenberg.

i had thought after the 1st episode of this season that there was a reference to "the shining", i thought i noticed it again here too with the unreal knife fight scene combined with the family breakdown and walt jr & skyler realizing ww is a monster, very stephen king horror style imo, well done.

so it seems it is going to boil down to white v pinkman death match for the finale and the white famiy will be spared. so i guess the only question now is whether or not jesse dies, right?

either way, i'm anxious to see but also sad that there are only 2 shows left.

Episode was great, but still cant get to the point of Walt return. When he returns he looks like shit, so something bad happening in mid time, cant wait for next episode.

                                to compare & contrast w/last week's episode.

this 1 was certainly as jam-packed as the last, and just as uncomfortable to watch, those emotionally wrenching scenes are pretty heavy tele.

but this episode felt more right to me. as uncomfortable as it all was, it was all inevitable really. it all made sense, if that makes any sense to anyone.

My theory on how it ends is that Walt breaks into his own house and retrieves the ricin and then takes it himself, he will then turn himself into to the DEA and confess everything to save Skylar and his family. The show will end with Walt choking and dying in the interrogation room after he reveals everything. The only others he could be getting the ricin for would be the nazi guys.

I think that Walt returns after his year in hiding with the new identity. He buys the bazooka to rescue Jesse from his enslavement in the meth lab having come to the understanding that Jesse is his true love.

Jesse comes to the understanding that Walt protected him all along and that he let Jane die because she got him back into heavy drug use and was only trying to save/protect him.

They both contact Saul who gets them out of the country with the help of his connection and they live happily ever after running a gay bed and breakfast in Belize.

                                            The end

That's pretty much what I was thinking too. Walts character isn't one to just let things go, but rather needs to rectify them as he is a caring person at heart and not a true hardcore gang-banging drug lord. We've seen this before how he attempts to only knock off the ones in target and not innocent bystanders, i.e. killing of Gus

The ended the last episode with him clearing the name of Skyler... but we're a bit confused as we were just told earlier by Hank that Walt is a smart guy, but also an idiot when it comes to how people really are -- meaning, the Nazis would have killed Hank regardless as they are killers and not peace makers. Then you have Lydia who is a king pin, but so soft, anyone can push her around.

Walt cares about his family, that's why he got into this mess in the first place was to make money for THEM while he was gone. Now we're told he has 6 months to live. Would he run and hide, spending $18 million on the best time of his life? No, he cares more about his family than anything.

This is where the M60 and ricin come in. We saw how Walt can be a bit of a "thug" but could he murder a group of people to save his family?

                                              My prediction...

Walt hangs out in New Hampshire for a while, then catches wind of his family in trouble. We've seen in a previous episode that he gets keys to a car with the M60 in the trunk. He hashes a plan to kill the neo-nazis, then Todd and Jesse. But before that, Jesse kills Todd in the lab with the handcuffs that we saw dangling from this waist, escapes and attempts to kill the rest of the crew, only to die himself trying -- and in some heroic way to prove to the world he was more than just a useless drug dealer and user... but dies choking on his own blood/vomit laying on his back.

Walt goes on the mission to kill the gang but stops to get the ricin. He gets to their house only to find everyone already dead, only to notice Jesse barely alive, shot and bleeding... Walt finds a towel, leans over and suffocates Jesse.

Before the ending, Walt meets with Lydia and they have tea, but to her demise, BOTH are poisoned with the Ricin. Walt tells her to run, hide and go away. Offers her part of the $70 million that is left, only to know she will die in a few hours. Before headed to the DEA to turn himself in, he drops off a sack of cash for Andrea and Brock to make sure they are good for life.

Walt goes into the DEA, turns himself in and starts confessing, only for the ricin to start taking effect. Knowing he has severe lung cancer, they assume it's the cancer.

Skyler, Holly and Flynn go to live with Skylers sister in hiding, only to discover the money that was left for them by Walt

Jesse was acting like a loose cannon. I do think it was extremely fucked up how Walt told him that he watched Jane die and didn't try to save her. I guess that was his payback for Hank ending up dead.

We know that Walt comes back in the future. I'm now wondering if it is for Jesse.
Walt was a nice guy keeping Jesse around for so long. Shows how much he actually cared about him. This last thing really hurt Walt. Jesse should have been dead 3-4 seasons ago. Hes been acting like a fool forever. He is the cause of every bad thing happening pretty much. Walt has had to dig them out of many wholes because of him.

from when? I thought it was really good at first, then started to suck a bit, especially in season 3, but glad I stuck through, it's a great show now.

Why did he need to pack up and leave? Everything was settled with that crew + DEA was off his ass... Marie would try to get him locked up, but there is really no evidence against him... would have been a bit awkward, but he could have just stayed home and played dumb... instead he backed himself into a corner, at the very least implied that he was involved in Hank's murder, so he is kinda fucked?

I agree. Last week seemed like a bit of a filler episode and this week was just poorly-written. Most of the characters were acting out-of-character.

I expected the show to go out on a you-die-the-girl-dies-everybody-dies note, but I expected a well-written character-driven Scarface destruction.

                                                                  (2) Flynn refuses to listen to a word his father says and sees his mother pull a knife, but is suddenly so totally her tool that he lies about it to the police and maybe himself. Even though the rest of the show, he has loved both his parents and always wanted to hear all sides of the story, and been attuned to dishonesty.

                                                                  (3) Skyler totally caves to Marie?s humiliating demands immediately. Even though the rest of the show, she has resisted her sister?s attempts to dominate her and always wanted to know everything going on before she acted.

                                                                  (4) Walt is on tilt and doing stupid things non-stop, from buying Jesse?s burning the money tale to telling a large group of armed killers that he has $80 million dollars buried near by. Even though the rest of the show, Walt?s character has been suspicious, secretive, and brilliant, yet somehow Walt puts all his remaining cash in 7 barrels in the same place. And blabs about it.

                                                                  (5) But, wait for it, the white power murder meth crew are totally reasonable, so Walt still has $11 million.

Todd is still a rational, hard-working, can-do kind of sociopath and Marie is still a competitive jerk who uses every situation as a way to get one up on those theoretically closest to her.

Todd is still a rational, hard-working, can-do kind of sociopath and Marie is still a competitive jerk who uses every situation as a way to get one up on those theoretically closest to her.

                                                                                    2) Flynn was yanked around the entire series, he was always pushed aside and made to feel inferior to his parents and others. This time, he stood up as the "man of the house" to his father who lied to him this whole time.

                                                                                    3) Skyler assumed she had no where to go, so she went along with Marie's plan to safe herself and family. If she knew Walt wasn't in custody, she would have told her to fuck off. This is the first time Marie, the annoying knat at the party, now has a voice

                                                                                    4) Walt just realized shit just got real!

                                                                                    5) The Aryans do have respect for Walt and understand that evil sides with evil. Leaving Walt with nothing would make them realize there is a chance they could all die, but giving Walt some and agreeing that they are "cool" sets their security that they can go on with their lives.

                                                                                    6) Probably a good few months have past in time, but like Brono67 said, babies do eventually talk

                                                                                          (1) Hank is totally cool under fire. Even though the rest of the show he has been Captain Panic Attack.
To me Hank has been both. He panics at some times and at others he is cool under fire. In this case I think he was a man who realized it was over. He was going to die and there was no way out of it. He had accepted his fate.

Flynn recently called Walt on his bullshit when he was lying about the gas in the house. Also, when the shit hits the fan in domestic situation many boys will side with and protect their mothers so to me this wasn't too out of character.

                                                                                          (3) Skyler totally caves to Marie?s humiliating demands immediately. Even though the rest of the show, she has resisted her sister?s attempts to dominate her and always wanted to know everything going on before she acted.
I have always felt like she has wanted to cave for a long time. She is in so deep and sees no real way out of this and I think the only reason she has gone forward is a fear of Walt and what he might do. She, like Hank, realized that the gig is up and it is time to surrender.

He has been on tilt for a while and was feeling hopeless. I think he had a sudden realization of what everything he has done really means and he really didn't want to see Hank killed.

                                                                                          (5) But, wait for it, the white power murder meth crew are totally reasonable, so Walt still has $11 million.
They want to try to keep Hank at least somewhat happy. They might need him in the future to cook for them.

And on and on. Pretty much the only characters who are behaving in character are Todd and Marie. Todd is still a rational, hard-working, can-do kind of sociopath and Marie is still a competitive jerk who uses every situation as a way to get one up on those theoretically closest to her.

Not only is the story failing on a story level, but there are long dull stretches where we get to watch something literally as boring as watching a middle-aged guy roll a heavy barrel across a desert in real time.
We are witnessing the collapse of an empire here and along with it the destruction of a family. People act strangely when that happens so if the characters do something that might be a little out of character for them I can see how that can happen.

Watch the barrel scene again and you'll see him roll right past them on the ground. They are symbolically making the point that he is right back where he started... though I think they are also suggesting that last time around he didn't even have pants and this time he is starting with 11M dollars.

                                                                                                Don't count Walt out....

                                                                                                    (1) Hank is totally cool under fire. Even though the rest of the show he has been Captain Panic Attack.

                                                                                                    (6) And Holly can talk now and ask for her mother.

What show have you been watching? It doesn't sound like breaking bad but all the characters have the same names and relationships.

                                                                                                    1) As has been mentioned, Hank has always been gung ho

                                                                                                    2) Flynn was just told some pretty serious things about his father, that would flip his life upside down, you don't think he would act out of character after that?

                                                                                                    3) Skyler has wanted to tell her story to everyone, she hasn't because of her fear of walt and the money side of things. Once things fell to pieces and her sister told her walt was arrested after she couldn't contact him.....

                                                                                                    4) It has always been about the money for Walt and for him to lose it all - you cannot see how he would not think it through properly? It isn't the first time greed has overcome walt. Walt is a control freak, he thinks he is in control, hence him attempting to negotiate with the money for his brother inlaw.

                                                                                                    5) They are calculated and see that walt is of use to them to make them more money.

6)An 18 month old girl muttering mamma poorly is hardly talking Have you actually been around an 18 month old child ever?
