I did some biz with Mike Freud or Michael Florino or somebody over the spring/summer. He contacted me about and bought a week of pop unders and nav bar link for free camstars. He tried to buy my site a few times after that but I wasnt trying to sell. He told me his name was mike freud. he had a backlink company. lives in china working with some company, did seo for youporn etc. Eventually he comes with a new deal where we would be partners. He would do backlink and seo stuff for the site, he would run it on his mechbunny and host it etc. I wasnt looking to sell pop unders or nav bar links but I think I was paid more than what I would have got anywhere else if I was. so that made me think he isnt a scammer. We move forward with the deal. My domain was on mechbunny and I handled the admin area. I didnt expect him to do anything I carried on as if it was still a blog. We never spoke about any seo or backlinks. He occasionally asked how the site was. Then he starts popping up with different icq's and gfy nicks and now he is selling the same story he sold to me but as chillvault. Very fishy stuff going on here....

The names I encountered were Mike Freud and William something.. I remember a Chinese William that used to do bad biz. Was trying to sell a number domain like 873462.com or something like that.

Mixing is definately not the same guy, but I haven't seen him online for weeks either so I don't know, but he used to be part of Dual Rack where I hosted for 2 years with no problems and because he was an ebuddy he would always hook me up with support or whatever. I've known him for about 3 years and he is definately not Mike.

I haven't dealt with Mike before (as far as I know) and he bought my sig deal no problems what so ever.

He was going to purchase a domain off me which is now sold thanks to him hooking me up with a guy named Dennis who was great to deal with aswell.

I think he's a good guy to work with so far.

All I know is he hit me with the same spiel about doing seo and working for youporn as Mike Freud and now is doing it chill vault. And I searched an icq number we spoke on and found mixing giving out the same number in a thread.

In that last linked thread, an ebay listing was posted that has Chillvaults ICQ for sale (which is obviously where he bought it). I would imagine the other new 6 digit ICQ's are also in that list.

Hey I'm totally with ya on this one,

there is definitely some strangeness going on.. they did purchase and pay for a domain from me, but that does not mean that there isn't or wont be some sketchy shit going on. Just from the thread starts alone something is obviously off. I wonder if it's the same chinese William that was accused of ripping people off. I know I dealt with him briefly and he was extremely flaky and unprofessional.

Your definitely correct about a connection between them, as I saw in my communications. I hope whatever has happened, or whatever that is to happen can be avoided.

Hopefully they have put anything odd behind them, and they continue to do solid transactions like the one I experienced.

From asking for a 5K loan, this did not smell right from the start. I remember a thread with ChillVault dicking around my pal Fitzmulti on ICQ. Fitz was selling content, and Chill claimed he wanted to buy content, and who better than to buy Content than from Fitzmulti. Anyways, long story short, Fitzmulti was having this long conversation with him on ICQ and when he offered to send links to sample pics to Chill, Chill responds along the lines with "I have to do work to buy from you?" He basically dicked around and wasted Fitz's time.

So he wants to buy content but is not willing or lazy enough to click on links to samples???!! Sounds real legit to me

I've done a fair amount of business with Mike over the years, as in he's bought a few thousand dollars worth of domains from me. I honestly can't speak for his SEO skills and for his nick/ICQ/name changes over the years (I've even told him he probably loses a lot of business from doing that and I don't understand why he does it) but I've never had any sort of issue with him paying for anything he's bought from me, and this is over the course of 4 years.

Mike was easy to deal with and paid promptly. Maybe he isn't connected with those others.. Perhaps he's just a bit over-ambitious in his efforts to earn cash? He sure did buy quite a lot of tube domains in a short span of time.. The idea of his program wasn't that awful either.

With PornMD's statement, maybe the guy is just guilty of bad taste? Regardless, moral of the story.. Always use caution. At least we know he's done some good business already. Now, as for buying nicks and the icq number deal.. My guess is as good as yours.
