Thank you for that MaDalton. I'm afraid I'm looking for a different type of content though. I will however keep you in mid if/when I'm looking to purchase content sets.

I sent emails to 10 different companies regarding traffic, some api stuff, ex-member emails, etc. I never got 1 response. So then I sent emails to different people at the above companies. Got 3 responses. Took over 2 weeks...

Despite what many will claim the majority of people in the business are seeing declines. On the affiliate site often affiliates barely make up double digits of their new revenue as a percentage. Many people still operating are virtually on auto-pilot and don't give a fuck. They are just squeezing out what they can before business completely dies and reaches the shutdown point where fixed+variable costs exceed revenues. It takes a lot to get someone's attention when in this mode. Otherwise they tend not to give a fuck.

But the affiliates are helping more than they get credit for. That's for sure. I started using a combo Verotel and CCBill affiliate code to handle a case where a sponsor I use switched typeins to always go to Verotel instead of CCBill. I'll be damned if 20% of my sales now come from the typein processor. If I didn't use the double code those 20% would be going to the sponsor and I would get nothing.

Sorry man. But I tested your system on and off for over a week. Never could get the damn thing to work. If the movies would load at all, it took fucking forever. iFrames with 100 DVD covers took 2-3 minutes to load. Seriously.

Many other things were broken too. Absolutely could not enable/disable several features and functions (downloads, for instance). Or if you disable one thing, it disables *everything*.

I watched a grand total of *maybe* 5 mins of video -- I honestly think it was closer to 3 mins. But I noticed that I was already on the verge of using up my entire allotment of demo bandwidth. Still nothing was working as it should. So I just gave up on it.

Bako, I seriously wanted to love everything you guys are doing. Your site looks very pretty. Extremely professional. Looked like it would be the ultimate solution for what I'm trying to do. But in the end, it was just a bad joke, and a complete waste of time.

I do the same. Except the calls. I will call certain affiliates but I've had trouble with the language barrier when dealing with our friends overseas. In those cases, email is best (so we can both use google translate).

The key feature is when sending a message, to tell it to remind you in a day or week or whatever if the person hasn't responded. So you don't have to keep track, it just reminds you later to send them a follow up. People generally take to action much faster on follow ups, because they realize they fucked up.

Also what you're dealing with is a lot of self employed people. They don't have a boss to yell at them if they don't keep up with things.

lol. This is so true. I learned long ago just to do everything in house. We work with few outside companies, but it is comical how many flakes there are in this industry. What makes it even more odd is we want to pay big money in many cases and still cant get a response.
