Hey dudes, I just wanted to let the industry know about this company and their rep. I've been shopping hosting lately and found this info right before I was about to purchase a few accounts from them.

Just go into google and type "Rockstar VPS Scam", you will see multiple links and read horror stories of people who have dealt with them!!

Hope I could be of help to some bros!

I don't want to play devils advocate here but out of curiousity i googled and only found a couple of threads on webhostingtalk about them. 1 guy was scrubbed for fraud, for whatever reason and refused service, 1 guy who tried evidently was abusing the system and causing resource issues for other customers on his node, and some guy who got refunded because he signed up with a fake domain name. Hardly a scam.

I bite the bullet and gave it a chance. Put a client/friend on there too. Had nothing but issues. Moved after things went down 3 times in a few weeks. In the end, I was told that they had lost all my files because the HDD my stuff was on was confiscated by the FBI. I requested a refund and they just shut me off that instant.

Same exact deal happened with my friend.

Barefooties has tried scamming people here by selling unlicensed content. His hosting operation seems like a big scam too. And that's my opinion having been a customer.

Would not be surprised at all if its a one man operation with him pretending to be the whole crew.

Unfortunately on a shared resource, like VPS nodes, if you get some abusive clients they effect everyone else on the node. While we have things in place to catch people (mailers, high resource usage, DDoS scripts, etc.), it does not always catch them immediately. Moved after things went down 3 times in a few weeks. In the end, I was told that they had lost all my files because the HDD my stuff was on was confiscated by the FBI. I requested a refund and they just shut me off that instant. Same exact deal happened with my friend. Barefooties has tried scamming people here by selling unlicensed content. His hosting operation seems like a big scam too. And that's my opinion having been a customer. Would not be surprised at all if its a one man operation with him pretending to be the whole crew.
