Gfy Experts: Psychiatrist hopelessly misdiagnosed me.. I need Adderall

Aren't they supposed to listen, at all? At all? I went to one yesterday and he would not listen to much of anything I had to say, at all, and he now thinks I am "bi polar" and so he gave me a sample of some "Abilify" which has made me sick and exhausted.

I tried to tell the guy I don't have mood swings, and that I responded well to stimulant medication when I tried it, before. He goes on at the end to say since I have mood swings he thinks I am bi polar. My sister and my woman and me sitting there telling him I don't, and all.

I have tried them both only one time and had bad side effects from vyvanse, but adderall fixes me. Well. Vyvanse AND Adderall both fix me, but Vyvanse gives me a terrible withdrawl when I come off of it.

Since I have tried both only once, and hate to be one who thinks I can self diagnose, I know that I am not sure- but I KNOW I don't need antis. For sure. I know that much.

I have no depression or mood swings. I don't need fucking antis. I have frustration and a bit of anxiety due to my complete lack of focus. I just read a 400 page book about adhd and I have adhd and I need some god damned adderall.

Adderall is wonderful. It does not make you high, or tired, or anything. For me, it just makes me able to "think straight" and not be "going in 100 directions". The one time I have taken it was recent and it was amazing- I was just amazed.

Problem is, I can't just go get it off of the street because it's a schedule drug and that is a big deal. Of course, the maker has created a fake shortage so the scrip will cost me $200 per month- but I need it- and I need someone to write it for me

How can I get it written legally and properly without spending a fortune more on doctors? This guy charged $210 and didn't do me any good at all here

I was diagnosed with ADD earlier this year and was prescribed Adderall. The initial "Wow!" effects it had on me are long worn off, and I think they were more mental than anything. It was a great rush initially, I felt so much more productive and organized right away. After a week or so, my body got used to it and I just focused better. I still have to work, on my own, to stay organized and focused on the right thing. I like that I can still multi-task without losing track of my main objective, no more "oooh.. Butterflies" .

I am prescribed 20mg adderall twice a day, but I only take it once in the morning. I will skip it some days that I don't feel like I need to be productive like weekends or "meeting" days.

I do think Adderall has helped me, and continues to. But not in the ways I dreamed of prior to being diagnosed. lol

If you're new in town go straight to a GP Doctor, tell them what you took before, and have them write the script. Gonna cost you more going through phycs until you find the right one, and when you do they will want to see you monthly, whereas the GP will only need to see you every 3 months due to federal regs and you'll have them right your script monthly.

HOWEVER. If you are sketchy ( look odd, smell odd, send off odd vibes ) then it will be much more difficult for you. Good luck!

Big amounts of caffeine will help reducing adhd symptoms. Also its very typical that if you have adhd you can drink several cups of coffee and go to bed then fall asleep without problems.

Are you on any antis or anything with it? I also read that some can sort of block the effects of it ... Are you on XR? Supposedly it's far less affected by what you eat..

For some reason I have drastically reduced caffeine use in the past half decade
I use to drink pots of coffee at a time and have an ice box full of coca cola

Now I will half 1/4 of a glass of coca cola or a watered down coffee now and then

Not sure why

Caffeine does not seem to make me "not sleep" like most people, too
