Dear fellow Americans, This what revolution looks like

REVOLUTION:

NOT A REVOLUTION:

The prime difference between the two is that TRUE REVOLUTIONARY CHANGE will always be met with force by the system being challenged. If you're engage in protest and are met with zero force chances are extremely high that you are doing nothing but supporting the status quo.

I don't see how a demonstration can be conceived in any country as a revolution... a revolution involves an uprising, whereas a demonstration is purely to make your voice heard.

Not really a revolution if the power structure merely collapses. plus you're completely ignoring the decades of brutal political reppression.

Was Met with force:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/People_...Ninoy_Aqu ino

And the bloodless revolution:
Quote:
The expression "Glorious Revolution" was first used by John Hampden in late 1689,[2] and is an expression that is still used by the British Parliament.[3] The Glorious Revolution is also occasionally termed the Bloodless Revolution, albeit inaccurately. In England there were two significant clashes between the two armies, and anti-Catholic riots in several towns.[nb 2] There was also the Williamite War in Ireland and serious fighting in Scotland (notably the Battles of Killicrankie and the Dunkeld).[nb 3] The revolution also led to the collapse of the Dominion of New England and the overthrow of Maryland's government.

The irony is the US government is actually commenting on the violence from the Libyan government, but if it were the US with that many people protesting in mass they would also kill us.

Thats specifically why i said "not the entirety of the people who support the Tea Party". Not every person who is a Tea Party supporter likes Ron Paul or share his views that he outlines in his book.

Speaking of someone being a dumbass...

Ron Paul was the driving force that kicked the entire tea party movement off. Those that aren't a follower of ron paul are simply being led around by the nose by the very same people they SHOULD be angry with. So you are correct in a sense. those that don't follow ron paul or what he has to say are fucking even bigger dupes than those that do.
