    Star Wars Kid

    (Probably been posted before, but worth repeating...)

    1) Know the story:
    Some 15-year old kid videotaped himself pretending to be a Jedi Knight... his friends found it and posted it on the Internet. It was so bad, he was going to sue over it...

    2) Watch the original:

    We started getting searches for The Star Wars Kid three weeks ago, but last week The Kid really arrived on the Web culture scene. His searches went up 500 percent and he received more searches than actor Jim Carrey or hot summer movie Dumb and Dumberer.

                                                          I feel bad for the kid, I am sure his peers are merciless. A lawsuit, though? Against who? For what? You used equipment that didn't belong to you to film an activity you engaged in inside a public building. Your rights have not been violated, you just did something boneheaded and now you're paying the price.
