not being funny, but cancelling a check after an agreement was made, and domain received = doesn't matter if the domain was worth two-fiddy and was sold for 9mill; what he did was outright theft.

Ray, each of his victims is from other country, so it wont be one big claim, but for legal organs in his country will be good if they receive more complaints from different people pointing to one guy. Trust me I went trough this in case of two guys scammed here around 200 people for complete of 30k usd and in one week there is a hearing and sentence.

The problem is in victims. They often shut up and don`t do anything, probaby because they are shamed of themselves that they was not that prudent to not let thief from fraud on them.

Secondly in Montreal it takes quite a bit of time to get through small claims count, up to 18 months before they hear the case.

Really sucks you got ripped off, hopefully these threads will get him to pay up or return the domain to you.

I have not posted here in 7-8 years from what I recall. This one deserved a reply.

I did buy webmasterland, the echeck was not canceled by me, it was because PP discovered I was using the account for adult transactions. I did initiate a wire to the seller, it failed. For the simple reason that the bank requires the name and address of the recipient.

I have been asking the seller (OP) for his name and address over and over again with no result.

He refuses to provide the name and address for a check, I will not re-wire him with the information he provided me, it is not going to go through. The bank requires an address for the person you send a wire to. This already cost me money.

I have been in communication all along, and even emailed him yesterday before he started all the drama. Asking him for a name and address to mail a certified check to him by registered mail. Of course I got no co-operation from him.

I told him today, screw it. I will go setup a paypal account today, send him a payment tomorrow.

He has been on a crusade to write his side of the story all this time in multiple threads.
He has forgotten to mention I am the one chasing him to pay him but can not do so without his name and address.

People contacted me yesterday about this, I am not dropping names, they know who they are and so does the OP. All I have asked them to provide me is a name and address to send him a check, they could not get it, he won't give it to me.

So the bottom line is, I went out of my way to setup a paypal to pay him tomorrow.

This will get paid tomorrow.

For the record I have bought over 200 domains in the past month, and still buying domains. You have a domain with PR I and higher am buying, I don't nickel and dime I will pay top dollar if the name makes sense. email me, it is not hard to find my email address.

This is my one and only post on the subject.People who know me,know me, and I am not into drama. I actually encourage everyone on my own board not to create drama. I will not get dragged into further drama, I said my peace, he will get paid by paypal tomorrow and that's all there is to it.

He would have gotten paid months ago by wire or check if only he provided what the bank requires for a wire or a check to mail him.

If this is the same "The Butcher" I know, owner of another adult forum (SC), he looks like a very good guy. Not someone who would be involved in these kind of things... At least it doesn't look like it. And he is saying he will pay you, which proves this.

Most Daves I know are good people anyways.



Just for the record: The only scammer Dave I know, is one involved in the Cam Business. He believes hes a B.O.S.S., but he's a fucking loser and scammer who stole money from webmasters in one of his old cam/reality programs in the past. Yep, everything is documented, won't talk about it here FOR NOW (ONLY FOR NOW), but if anyone is interested send me a PM. So take care with that specific shitty Dave. A loser who can only get laid by paying Strippers. Maybe one day I will open a new thread with the full story and nicks/names of that loser.

Hi, lent $300 to TheButcher ICQ 331446617 with the promise to get $330 back 3 days later.

After a few weeks later he said his accounts have been frozen because of adult biz. Working on a new account.
After a few months later he said he could send me a check because its not working out.
After another week, still no proof, but him asking for my paypal acc.
After a few more weeks, still no payment.
...
Last week I got a payment of $350 to my paypal account, with the promise of more weekly payments.

Now the payment got reversed and hes telling again that the bank froze his acc...

As someone who once adminned a forum that encouraged the use of fake nicks while having several dozen of my own therein, I find the practice you speak of as disengenuine.

Almost as disengenuine as a business forum where it is common knowledge amongst its veteran participants that multiple nicks not only do exist, but that there are individuals who even go to ridiculous lengths of flaming themsevles to promote products in posts and signatures.
