Police investigate shooting at Arizona shopping center that leaves 2 dead

One more incident for the gun control supporters.

Authorities say two people died in a shooting at a shopping center in Mesa, Ariz., Thursday evening.

The shooting reportedly took place just before 6 p.m. at Vietnamese restaurant Phu Thanh, MyFOXPhoenix.com reports.

Officials said a man and a woman died from wounds incurred during the shooting, and another person suffered a gunshot wound to the hip. A third was trampled trying to get out of the restaurant.

According to MyFOXPhoenix.com, the incident is apparently a murder-suicide case.

The victims' identities have not been released as an investigation is still under way.

Officials have not released any other information at this time.
