US soldier kills Afghan civilians in Kandahar

A US soldier in Afghanistan has shot dead 15 civilians and wounded others after entering their homes in Kandahar province, Afghan and Nato sources say.

He reportedly left his base early in the morning to attack village homes. Nine children are among the dead.

The White House voiced "deep concern" and Nato-led forces in Afghanistan promised a rapid inquiry

Is that a problem? They are not Americans and they can't hit back, so why don't kill them? My grandma has lived on a territory occupied by Nazi during WWII. Personally I can't see any difference here. The Nazi came to kill, rape and steal. Obey or die.

Edit: It's a waste Lives, Money, Resources etc. to even be there. Actually my "vote" would be to get out of there and move on, If it's so bad that we are made to use force, instead of spending 100's of billions of dollars going to war, Just send a Nuke and be done with it.

The main thing in the story is that this was one person who had a mental breakdown before the incident. It's even in the report. However the afghan leaders are framing it as if it was "US forces" committing murder. Well, only because the man who went on a killing spree happened to be a soldier in that country. He'd have done it in America if he was stationed here and had his mental breakdown. This is one of those things where you can see by reactions where a leader stands. So far it looks like he wants there to be an uprising.
